Interview the person below you (Part II)

The Citrus Swirl - I can never get enough!!

You've got 2 days at WDW - do you split each day and visit all 4 parks or only pick 2 to give them your full attention?

This is hard. I would probably split a day between MK and Epcot (mostly just for Soarin') and then a day at DHS. DS LOVES Star Wars and Indiana Jones. :)

Have you ever ridden the monorail, just to ride?

Absolutely!!! If we don't need to use the monorail to get from one place to another, we always make a full loop around the resorts at least once. It wouldn't be a trip to WDW without it!

If Fastpass+ comes into being as expected and you can FP only 3 things (attractions, meet & greets, fireworks, parades, QS meals), what are your 3 things to FP at each park?

Our tickers are close! :)

Okay, here we go..

Magic Kingdom: Caseys Corner (IF I could get a front table during fireworks)
Electric Light Parade and Haunted Mansion

AK: Safari, Dinosaur and Flame Tree (becuase I've never tried it... always do Tusker House - :worship: the juice!!!... and then don't need more food while we're there.

Epcot: Soarin' (of course) - Illuminations (good viewing area) and Spaceship Earth I guess. Never had much of a wait for this one.

DHS: Indiana Jones, Star Wars and the parade. (Have a thing for parades :) )

Because I see this all over these boards - do you like the hat at DHS or do you want to see it removed?

DisneyCrazyMama: You've got to try Flame Tree! It's pretty darn good QS food and the seating area around behind the restaurant, down by the water, with a view of EE is awesome! We always eat at TH too (partly for the juice!), usually at 8 am, then eat at Flame Tree before we leave the park at the end of the day. Couldn't miss either!

OK, here's my answer:
I actually like the hat.....I just hate when they put a stage or some other crap in front of it so that there's no point of taking a photo in front of it. (Oh lord help me, I sound like the folks who complain about the castle crane.)

Aside from your family, tickets and a camera, what's the one thing you couldn't go into a park without?

my glasses............can't do much up close looking or reading without them

What character would you like to see that you usually don't?

I really enjoy seeing Mr. Fredricksen. That old guy makes me smile! I haven't seen him since our trip in 2011 when he was appearing at the Pixar 25th celebration. Seeing Dug & Russell is great, but I miss Carl. :(

What character would/do you seek out, even if it is difficult and/or requires a sizable wait?

none really.................but we did wait at the Halloween party to get our picture taken with all 7 dwarfs

What is your favorite TS in each park?

Epcot- akershus
Mk- crystal palace
Hs- brown derby
Ask. Don't know yet

Best ride at the water parks in your opinion?

4 soon to be 5

Have you been to any of the other Disney properties besides WDW, if so which ones?

Epcot.....Ellen's Energy Adventure (even in its stale state, one of my faves)
MK........Tomorrowland Speedway (get rid of the gas engines...and the fumes!)
DHS......Indiana Jones (love it but a new version would be great)
AK.........maybe Dinosaur? Does it have to be so rough?

What's your favorite non-ride attraction at each park?

MK.....Wishes
Epcot.....Illuminations
DHS.....Fantasmic
AK.....Mickey's Jungle Jammin'parade

What would you do differently if you went on a solo trip?

Mk: Philharmagic and Wishes (two, I know)
DHS: Indiana Jones
AK: Lion King show
Epcot: Does the Candlelight Processional count?

If you could choose between going to Disney once a year for the rest of your life, on your dime, but never going anywhere else on vacation again, OR going on a lavish vacation every year for free, but never going back to Disney again, which would you choose?

What would you do differently if you went on a solo trip?

I would go to a spa. I would go on attractions that no one else likes to go on such as Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest, and Tower of Terror.

I would choose to pay for it myself since one more trip to Disney would never be enough.

Which park do you choose for first and last day of your trip?

We don't have a set first and last day park. We go to DTD on our arrival day and get to bed early. Our first full day isn't a set MK like a lot of people, just whatever is the most recommended for that day. We love all the parks equally, so it doesn't much matter. For some reason, we almost always do DHS on our last day. Purely coincidence but lets me look forward to ToT the whole time!

Any every-trip traditions for you and your family?

not really............we're older and go with just the 2 of us, usually. So we are laid back and just do whatever strikes us at the time

If you could only take one person to go with you on a trip, who would it be and why that person?

Oh boy, is there riot protection after I choose? I guess if I was to choose a single family member, I'd take my DH since choosing one child and not the other would definitely scar them for life. It would be fun to take each child individually though.

Do you have a single most memorable WDW vacation? What made it your favorite?
