Prayers to the Northeast, can't imagine this stuff still going. Sbnow has ended here, sun is out.

Some running around to do this afternoon, then going with my parents and the girls to a Mardi Gras party my SIL is hosting. DW can't go, there is a music festival of sorts at the church, she has to perform.

Morning Guys,

we haven't had a lot of snow here yet but we are still under a blizzard warning and the winds are pretty strong. I tihnk most stores stayed closed this morning. I hope everyone else is doing ok.

DS and I made it to the basketball game and back before anything started up last night. Decent game and it was pretty cool to sit court-side

Hey guys.. Just finished digging us out from this storm. :furious: Absolutely ridiculous how much snow we got in a 24 hour span.

I'm ready for spring.

Good morning fellas. Hope everyone is staying safe that is on this storms path.

Back to work today.... The sun is out and the snow stopped.

Going to try and work on the car tomorrow, see of I can get it dug out first and then started.
Should be fun.
The boys are building igloos, out older boy got his built yesterday, he is going to add a few more rooms today. I might have to get in there and help out as well and see what we can come up with. :)

Supposed to keep snowing until around 4PM. It has slowed down, but still coming down pretty good. We played out in the snow and are having a neighborhood blizzard party around 2PM. May as well have some fun with it. Will clear everything one last time when the snow stops.

We had one snow drift that buried our van. Forts on both sides of the street have been built and we'll have daily snow ball fights until the snow is gone. Woo-hoo! Hope all stay safe and have power. We never lost ours, but there were a lot of people on the coast without power.

Mardi Gras party and a church event. Totally opposite ends of the spectrum there..

Back from basketball. Both girls won their games and played well. It is 47 and sunny here. Prayers for all those up north and hope there is just snow fun and not snow problems.

Theory might have held water if my first bus wasn;t the same bus she takes. :rotfl2: 5 more shifts, and no work 'til Tuesday at that.

I tried. The world is fully of them. Only 5 more shifts. :thumbsup2

If it has to be cold, might as well have lots of snow. Sounds fun.

I had to put my kitchen chair next to to my back door as a reference. There is about 3 ft next to the door and it is higher past that.

I remember those days from living in the snow belt and I want to keep them just a memory.

Evening guys...home now, fun night. Quietest Friday night I've seen. Lost three people to the storm, one because of the "hardships" of taking the bus in this weather...complaining to me, who takes two. :rotfl2: Whatever, it was a good night, my last night shift at the store. One week to go now.

Hang in there, the end is in sight.

Saw the first bluebirds today while cleaning up the garden.

Congrats to the girls. I hope you are having a celebratory dinner.

Anyone heard from Brian today? I think he and the family were supposed to drive to Baltimore today for their cruise. I hope the driving wasn't too bad.

Gift Auction tomorrow for my local High School Marching Band, hope to win a nice stash of prizes:confused3, last year they did have Disney passes, I'll bring my little flashlight and expect each prize like Dave Hester checks a locker before putting my ticket in:lmao:

Thanks for the concern guys...

Left the snow in Toronto at around 6:00 am. Streets still weren't plowed... The first bit of the drive leaving the city was horrible.
Made it to the border, and was literally the only car crossing into the USA...
Snow in Niagara Falls and bufflo wasn't to bad at all....
Once we got out of buffalo, there was absolutely no snow, or any indication a storm had happens or was happening.

We pulled into Randall's place just after 5:00 pm.
Was great meeting him, Jodi, and he grandkids. Really!!!!
The kids all got alog great, and Randall was an awesome host.
Thanks for the warm welcome Randall... Just more evidence that although we are all for different walks of life, and became friends over a Internet forum, some real good friendships have been fostered.
