I think I may have gotten lost in the shuffle . Does anyone know about this?

We are looking at renting DVC Points. A value Savannah room at AKL.

Do all of the rooms have a pullout sofa or are there some rooms that have 2 queen beds?

Is the sofa comfortable for an adult??

The only DVC studios that have two beds and not the bed/queen set up are at OKW.

Also, I wanted to point out that while some of the value villas at AKV have a savanna view, it is not possible to request that view specifically. You won't have a guaranteed savanna view, you could also end up with a view of the pool or a view of the parking lot/bus station.

I wasn't ignoring you, just didn't know the answer...
We didn't get a bounce back offer when we were there a few days ago. (Paying cash, staying at Jambo House, regular room.) But, I didn't push for one because I knew we couldn't do it anyway.

.....just saw this: "bounce-back' refers to a great offer on a possible upcoming vacay while you are still a guest at any particular WDW resort....it doesn't pertain to DVC members....

My family and I have toured AKL several times over the past 10/11 years and we haven't been all that impressed. But this past April, we walked around the pool area and explored a lot more than usual, and now we are HOOKED!! I just booked a trip from 5/27-6/2 in a Pool View room. I can't wait!

we check in 3 weeks from today!!!

Bouncing from phone number to phone number trying to book the night vision tour. the hotel transfered me to a tour hotline, that transfered me back to the hotel but a different number, and I got someone who had never heard of the tour.

I'm on hold again Hope they have openings on my daughters birthday

I must tell you that the worst TP I have ever experienced is at the Pentagon, single ply, paper, almost like tablet paper, I think I could write on it...

Everyone complains about it, but nothing is ever done...


AKL paper is much better than that..

An adult only trip at the AKL would be awesome. You can relax and enjoy the resort and all the perks of the Club Level.

The breakfast after the Sunrise Safari is served in the back room of Pizzafari. A WDW chef prepares the delicious food and will describe all the goodies on the table.

What I think a bounce back offer is is when you make reservations for your next trip at a discounted rate. I wasn't sure if you had to currently be in a room in which you paid cash for as opposed to renting points for your current room. I think I had seen somewhere that when you rent DVC points you would not be eligible for a bounce back rate....but I'm not sure! I'm just earning my ears

No you will not get that we you are there on DVC points, rented or not.

They must get ours from the same warehouse.

DH calls it "That John Wayne stuff."
I asked him why & he said "Because it doesn't take any @&@! off anybody!"
