....that's the silliest pic I ever saw - everyone knows that oompa-loompas have ORANGE skin....:snooty: [ :lmao: ]

All hail TK, the model physical therapy patient! :worship:

Today, I got a "wow!" from Greg in regard to my progress. And, nothing we did hurt me enough for me to cry! :thumbsup2

I'm approved to drive, am getting more range of motion in my knee, have even more exercises to do, but all of it is helpful and exciting and I am so glad that I pushed myself so hard this past week. :thumbsup2

It's not easy being an orange dog. That would make you a hot dog.....and I just couldn't do that to the sausage dog.

Yeah TK! I'm glad the therapy is working for you.

Thank you, ladies!

I'm glad PT is working for me too. I was beginning to get a bit stir crazy.

I'm a little bit nervous about driving just because my knee can get tight sometimes, but I think Squirt and I will try to head to our local library tomorrow. He can burn off some steam and I can return a few things and pick up my holds. :goodvibes

no.pain.no.gain.

Today Nemo turns eight.

Eight years old!

I can remember when I started on here and he was a toddler. It's crazy how quickly time flies. He's such a great kid, and I just feel so lucky. I love both my boys so much.

Happy Birthday, Nemo!!! :goodvibes

Sometimes looking at the waters that parents of girls have to navigate in regard to clothing nowadays, it makes me glad I have boys.

Well... you know.... it's never too late for your boys to have a little sister. what a nice birthday present... what a nice gift.. maybe for his 9th birthday... better get started.

People are always asking me when we're going to try for a third so DH can have a boy. Not possible (got fixed) and would probably just have another girl. Plus, our friends with 3 girls told DH some football analogy that turned him off the idea of a third - you go from man to man coverage to a zone defense. :rotfl2:

:rolleyes1

Okay, I'm not going to lie and pretend like we haven't talked about having a third, but that's so far off the table right now, it's not even sitting down to dinner. :lmao:

We'll see. :lmao:

MQ, I think the odds are pretty well stacked against me that if I have another one, it's going to be a boy.

And I am totally going to use that football analogy on my husband. He's not a huge football fan, but boy, does that man love the Superbowl. I think it will speak to him. :lmao:

It never ends, believe me..... Even after 3 boys, we were still being asked, "Are you going to try for a girl?!"....My DH is the youngest of 3 boys, his brother had 3 boys, and we had 3 boys. I'm thinking, NO.

.

....another mother of three boys here.....I kept hearing that "Are you gonna try for a girl?" line for the LONGEST time.....in fact, the subject same up last week.....and I'm 55 years old.....[ :rotfl2: ]

[BTW ~ J/K on that last comment...;) ]

Well.. we had the 2 girls.. and when we had the third and it was a boy, EVERYONE was like.. oh good.. they got thier boy, now they are done... but Hey... why not even it out... now I go two and two.... (Do I sometimes wish I stopped at two.. ) Nah.... wouldn't trade it for anything.... but yes.. it would be nice to have them all older and reasonable... instead.. I've got a loooong way to go..

But I do have to say the girls were alot easier... or maybe that's just because i was younger and still had patience.. the boys are just bad, and put me over the top.. and of course we were out numbered by then.... still... wouldn't trade it for anything...

TK.. you could still get that little princess.... princess:

Ha ha! The odds are definitely not in your favor. :lmao:

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one that gets this question. :thumbsup2

See, that is so funny, because I have never heard that girls are easier. I guess it just depends on who you talk to!

I'm not going to lie.

I would love to have a daughter. I'd love to be able to have the kind of bond I had with my mother with a girl, but honestly? I have it with my sons. They're great kids, both soooo different (one is exactly like me and the other exactly like my husband), and they keep us on our toes.

We have a great balance going on right now, and I hesitate to disturb it.

So we'll see. It's not completely off the table.

It's just not on there right now. :lmao:

How are all of you stuck in the Nemo storm doing? It's hard to believe with how it's been down here that part of the country is having a huge blizzard.

It's been snowing pretty much all day here, but just really started picking up over the last couple of hours. We've had a few wind gusts, but the real heart of it has yet to arrive. The overnight hours and tomorrow morning are supposed to be the worst. I took a few pics first thing this morning, then later this afternoon, and will take some again tomorrow when I get up. It should show a good progression when it's over and I put them all together!
