Week of Feb 24 to March 2, 2013

We will be there Feb 28th-Mar 3rd...cant wait to see what LTM they have that week!

We are going the 23rd through the 27th. Looks like the crowds won't be too bad. It's hard to say for sure how the weather will be in FL in February. It's usually nice, in the 70's or 80's and sunny, but there is always the chance that a cold front will move down the state and it'll be a little chillier. We are packing shorts and t-shirts right now and we'll be driving down in jeans and hoodies, so I'll have at least 1 cold-weather outfit handy. Might throw another one in the suitcase depending on the weather report the day before we leave. Go for it, you should have a great time!

That's the nice thing about driving. When we drive in the winter, we usually have an extra suitcase with cold weather gear (at least when the forecast is iffy). And we can (hopefully) leave our coats in the car the whole time.

For packing I plan layers.
For Melody most of her outfits are skirts and short sleeve T's.
I'll have leggings or pants for each top and long sleeves to go under each short sleeve shirt available if needed.
And a jacket too, in case of really cold temps.
For DH and myself we'll do something similar in that we'll have a long sleeve T to go under our short sleeve T and we'll have a pair of pants to go in place of shorts.
We'll have tennies to wear if it's too cool for sandals.
Even if the weather is warm when we leave we are there 10 days. The predictions are not accurate 10 days out so it could well turn cool before we head home so we'll bring it all with us.

We leave the Philly area for Florida Feb 20th on a 6 am flight.

We are first going to Clearwater to see Phillies Spring Training. We will arrive in WDW evening of Feb 23rd

I am in some need of some sunshine!

We're leaving Kansas on the 26th & will be there through the 6th of march!!!

We will be there that week too! My DS turns 7 on 2/26 and we're looking forward to celebrating there.

That's MY birthday! I'll also be celebrating at Disney. Let's all hope for a warm, dry week together!

I am going for a short trip February 28th-March 4th. I am hoping for fewer crowds and nice weather also. This may be my last trip to the World until 2015 (Really want to see Universal next Winter).

This will also be our last trip until 2015...my wife decided to have our 3rd mouseketeer and i know the months following will be to rough on us to do another trip this year.But 4 trips in 12 months should hold us over for a lil bit

Now my dilemma is to keep checking every day or let it go for a while - at least until its time for the 10 day forecast .

We went in 2010 during the same basic time frame for our first visit. We had a great trip, we did not experience crowds, had less than 1/2 waits for major rides. We did have a cold spell while we were there and had gloves and coats on at night touring the parks a few days. The kids were able to swim two days of the trip when the weather was warmer. It was sunny every day except one day when it rained. We would not hesitate to go again during this time..

I'm more worried about the weather at home. It would be just my luck that a freak Iowa snowstorm grounds us. Even if it's 40 degrees in Orlando, I'll be fine with it...just as long as I get there.
