What's the funniest thing a cast member has ever said to you?

When DS was 3 we took him to DL and DCA. We rented a stroller but he's always preferred to walk and we never really minded becasue the stroller gave us a great place to stash all of our stuff while we were in the parks. ;) He was always really good about holding someone's hand but since it was so crowded that visit, we put one of those plush animal "backpacks" with the little leash on it on him just in case we got separated in a crowd. Needless to say, everywhere we went the CMs would ask him, "Did you know you have a monkey on your back?" My favorite was when Mary Poppins and Bert asked with their accents!

DH, DS and I rode up front on the Backlot Tour in 2011. The CM doing the tour was a sweet young woman who obviously didn't get enough sleep the night before. She did her speech at the beginning of the ride and then fell sound asleep for the remainder, LOL. We were trying so hard to hold in our laughter the entire length of the ride, and I even took her picture while she slept. Somehow though, at the end of the ride, and right on time, she jumped out of her sleep with a huge smile on, waved to all the people and said she hoped everyone enjoyed the Backlot Tour and to have a great day! One of our funniest WDW moments ever! :rotfl:

I shave my head clean, as in shaving cream and razor. The Magic Kingdom Fire Chief came up behind me, rubbed my head, and said I looked like I needed a trim and informed me where the barber shop was! That was within the first 45 minutes of our last trip, and really set the tone for our best Disney trip ever!

At MK last last year. DD and I were strolling through Epcot mid afternoon. Well, it was either Epcot or DHS. We hit it really early, so my memory is a bit hazey.:confused3

Anyway, in the late afternoon we stumble into a line and it's for Minnie, who's signing autographs and posing for pictures. I am a sucker for characters, as is my daughter. We just really get excited when we run into characters. They are such a big part of the experience.

She finally got up there and we had Photopass pictures taken. It was great and we were leaving to let others move up. But then the escort CM grabbed me. She turned me around and Minnie was waving me over.:lmao: Minnie wanted to see me personally! I am a huge sucker for character encounters. I mean, I really geek out, as we all do, I guess. But I was letting my girl have her moment without butting in.

But when Minnie calls you over, you GO, no questions asked.:thumbsup2 So I flew over there and politely stood by Minnie, gently leaning into her because, you know, I don't want to creep her out.:scared: But she wants none of it. Minnie wraps her arm around mine and leans in close and kisses me on the cheek. :cool2: I am the man!

As I thank her profusely and walk away from her, the CM grabs me again and turns me around. Minnie raises her pointed finger to her lips and makes the Shhhhh! gesture, a sign to keep the kiss on the q.t. so Mickey doesn't find out.:cloud9:

That was hilarious. My little girl was teasing me the rest of the day. Anyway, Minnie telling me to keep the kiss away from Mickey is one of the funniest things a CM has ever said to me.

I was at the Magic Kingdom after having been at Universal Studios on the day before with my family. I was wearing a "Green Eggs & Ham" shirt that I had bought at the park because my name is Samantha. Although sometimes people call me "Sam", and the license plate on my mom's car says "Sam Iam". One of the Cast Members at "It's A Small World" noticed my shirt, and joked, "I think you're in the wrong park Dr. Seuss."

Another funny moment was on another trip when one of the cast members at Old Key West made me, and my friend Lorrie laugh when he did his great impression of Donald Duck. It was so cute, and funny. I don't know if anyone else on here has had an encounter with him. But, he works in that gift shop store at the resort. I wish I had known his name. Because we ran into him again at the gift shop store on the day before we had to leave, and he still made us laugh again with his Donald Duck voice.

We had a CM do this for us while we were waiting in line for the Monorail at the Contemporary. DS4 loved it and still talks about it!

We have never met him before but he has been mentioned several times in this thread! He sounds hilarious! My sister can do a Stitch" voice, it would great if these two could meet :lmao:

From what I can remember. He worked in that little grocery store/gift shop place on the property at OKW. I saw the name of it once when I was looking for some information on OKW. But, I forgot the name of it. When I go back there with my friend next year who is planning on staying there again as she has a timeshare there. I'll have to find out who he is. Or, if there are any cast members on here who works at OKW, or knows people who do. Maybe they would know.

I had lunch at CRT on my 21st birthday, and just after we'd done the photos with Cinderella she whispered in my ear "You want to head over to Epcot after here princess". She was delighted to hear that was my plan anyway and recommended I try a beverage from every Kingdom!
Funniest thing was as we were leaving we walked past her again (no one waiting for her and no children around) and she made a drinking mime and winked!
Who knew Cindy had such a devious streak in her! :drinking1

I love it! :).

I was walking down Main Street USA. It was fairly empty I was walking on the right side of the street, when someone walked right into me. I was just about to say something to that person when I realized it was the Fairy Godmother. She said, "Excuse me deary! I'm so terribly sorry!" And with that, she left me in the middle of the street, while she went and power walked ahead towards the castle.

On our trip last year, the security guard who looked at our bags told my sister she couldn't bring in the apples she had stashed in there for a snack. She was actually upset for a split second until he mentioned that Snow White wasn't too fond of them. It was a neat little moment.

Also at Disneyland, Cruella DeVille stole my Duffy bear. I ran down Main Street after her, pleading for him back while she tried to convince me that she would take very good care of him. My friends could not stop laughing.

Wasn't me but it was a family in front of us while waiting to board monorail at EPCOT. Grandma-aged lady was wearing a Winnie the Pooh hat, and her hubby had on a Winnie shirt.. CM walked up to the lady w/ a concerned look and said, "Ma'am, I'm terribly sorry. This is just embarrassing to tell you, but you've got Pooh on your head. And Sir, you seem to have Pooh al over your shirt."
Took a few seconds to register w/ all of us, but when it did it turned into one of those moments where thelaughter continued to build. The lady was in tears of laughter which only made al of us laugh more.

On my latest trip which ends tomorrow I was on Tower of Terror and in the library at the end of the video when the room goes dark and it says "this elevator travels directly to *the twilight zone*" the CM instead said "*the gift shop*". I found it very funny! Also on Rock n Roller Coaster a CM in the recording studio said "congrats on those backstage passes... That almost never happens!" Lol! Some fun ones out there this trip!

I'll share a couple recent ones since I can't seem to remember any others..

Last week my friend and I were visiting Tigger at AK and after we took our pictures he grabbed each of our hands and we started skipping away.. he led us a good 15 feet away from the photo area and the Attendant eventually had to chase after us. :tigger:

Then a few days ago the CM in the library at ToT was creeping around the room and silently standing behind people until they turned around/noticed him and omg you should've heard the blood-curdling scream that came out of me...

I'd never seen that before at ToT! He was amazing - really scary.

I should paraphrase by saying goofy is my absolute favorite character. I just love him. We were in epcot in 2011 in the area which you meet the whole gang, mickey, minnie, donald, pluto and of coarse at the very end goofy. I was anxiously awaiting to meet goofy with my son (5) and my fiance. After my son took a picture with him I told them I was going to get a picture with him by myself. Well goofy took my fiance and posed him then passed my son then leaned in and had me kiss him. The first picture was a reaction sort of like "what just happened? " the second was truly awesome. My fiance was mid "HEY!" And my son was leaving over to really see what we were doing. After the pictures goofy takes my arm and we run away together while the CM are telling him to come back. Best interaction I've ever had with a character, and that it was goofy... Well there's no question now why he's my favorite!

The second was a great CM who was the PA guy on the tram. It was a late night and we are all tired. The tram started and he announces "get ready for the biggest drop in magic Kingdom, get your arms in the air..." as we go down a slight dip in the road "did we lose anyone?" He had us cracking up the entire ride back to our car. He would randomly state how fast we were going (like it was the most extreme ride ever) then he went into a mathematics equation, something to the tune of take the tram which goes 5 miles per hour divide that by 60, multiply the answer by 30, square the answer and you have....I have no idea. I wish I knew his name because he was awesome!

Waiting for a tram at DHS, in my Hawaiian shirt, one of the Green Army Men pointed out for the crowd that I was "dressed appropriately in Disney camoflague".

Also on Rock n Roller Coaster a CM in the recording studio said "congrats on those backstage passes... That almost never happens!" Lol! Some fun ones out there this trip!

last time I was on RNRC the CM announced 'congrats on those backstage passes, they only come along every (dramatic pause) 3 or 4 minutes'

We were eating breakfast at Chef Mickey's. It was the week of the Ohio State vs. Michigan football game and I had my Ohio State shirt on. When Mickey came to our table, he paused, ponted at my shirt, and motioned with his arms "O" "H". I motioned back to him "I" "O". It was kind of a humorous and special moment. Who knew Mickey Mouse was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan? ;)

The last time we ate at 1900 Park Fare for dinner my girls had purchased tipsy turvy dolls in th gift shop and brought them with them. The dolls are the ones that are like two dolls in one. One of the step sisters picked one up and noticed that when you lift the dress of the doll, you find another princess inside. She was astonished and called the other step sister over. They both looked under their dresses to make sure there was now hiding princesses. Lol.

well this isnt what a cast member said but security as i was waiting for my partner who was in the toilet at the park exit at animal kingdom......

my daughter who is 3 was having a mini meltdown because she was tired and hot......so i was comforting her. a security guard walked past me and said very quietly "dont worry little girl, you wont be in disney much longer".

i didnt know how i should have taken that comment so i didnt respond.

this was only a few days ago.
