All caught up! So far it looks like you guys are having a blast! I hope you're doing well, Kathy!

I love Mark's sense of humor and all the hat pictures but after reading about getting lice from hats at Disney it gives me the hibby jibbies and makes my head itch. He doesn't have long hair so he should be ok but you should be careful.

BTW I only won $6.75 at Bingo...not much help for the Disney fund!:rotfl2:

Yay for booking your airfare!

Looks like you guys were having a great time in Epcot! Haha, don't blame Des for not wanting to try the Beverly! I've tried it a few times, and while I don't exactly like it, it's not as bad as everyone makes it seem! But still, I wouldn't go out of my way to drink it!

We've only been to Teppan Edo once, and while Brandon wasn't that impressed with it, I'd like to give it another try! :thumbsup2 Ugh, that screaming baby does not sound like fun though! I LOVE babies, but I just can't deal when they are screeching like that and the parents do nothing to help the situation!

So sad Nicki and Todd had to leave you guys! :(

The time had come and our friends were leaving. We walked with them towards the back door entrance so they could go get their car at The Dolphin.

It was then time to say goodbye. Hugs and kisses were given all around and, of course, Nicki and I had our cryfest. Sorry...no pictures. I told them it wasn't allowed.

"Yay, you're here!" :cool1: was so much better than "Waah, you have to leave." I hope you guys have many more trips together with your growing family and DIS friends in the years ahead. :wizard:

Trent just said this past weekend that he wants to go to Teppan Edo again in December, so I guess the first two 'for sure' ADR's for the Christmas trip will be that and 'Ohana - if we can get them.

Keeping up with the chatter !!! I am getting an AP in October , will save money for my Grannie Trip!! But I will have to go again before October 2014 !! Such a Tought thing to HAVE to do:rotfl2:

Catching up... haven't Dis ed in a week ... :surfweb: & you are an updating marvel...lol...

Very cute photos at Cape May Breakfast so I'm sorry to hear it was just meh... (I've got breakfast ressies for Crystal Palace and Boma in the summer... haven't been to CP so I hope it is good...)

It's good to know Mark is a good purse holder...:lmao: It's important to know your skill set...:thumbsup2

I love the photo from Spaceship Earth of the 2 of you in your future kitchen...:thumbsup2

Great Hats in Mouse Gears... I just love that store... it's become one of my favorites on property...:)

The Wedding Invites are very pretty... How exciting... it's getting so close...:thumbsup2

The photo of the boys in the Mexican Pavilion looks like you ladies had your own three Calbereros...:rotfl:

I Love that they gave Mark a chef's hat with his cake at Teppan... did they know his hat love?... ;)

Awwww...Good Byes are really hard...:sad1:

Getting a nice refreshing beverage to take to that photographer?

That would have been a nice gesture now wouldn't it?

I still say the nastiness is overrated. It ain't good, but it isn't that revoltingly nasty. I can't believe she wouldn't try it after Mark downed a cup. :rotfl2:

I think she caught the look in my eye and decided I was up to no good.

Is this the new live action versrion of the 3 Caballeros? :rotfl2::rotfl:

Yes, I think they might be. :rotfl:

The Monkey King!!! I always want to stop and ask him if he knows the Lion King. I know... I'm not right.

No, you are definitely NOT right. But I still love ya anyway.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the meal at a new place, and I like Mark's birthday surprises. The hat is just too appropriate. It's like they know the legend of the hat pictures.

I thought that maybe someone had filled them in that he was the King of the Hat shots, but I found out every birthday person gets one of those hats if you have the right chef.

Or she was being thoughtful and trying to make the goodbye easier... :thumbsup2

That's a distinct possibility. It didn't work though...perhaps a couple of more might have helped.

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Ok, details are needed here...

Did the annoying people all finally pack up and leave, or did it take Andy just snap and start throwing them out of the pool??? :confused3 :confused3

Yes, ALL of those annoying people were now gone and Sunday and Monday the pools were empty. Of course, we went nonstop Monday except for a quick stop at the resort and didn't have time to use the pool.

Love all of the crazy hat pictures of t
he guys! And the one of Des and Andy bowing in China.

Thanks, Steph.

Teppan Edo looks nice. Bummer you had a screaming kid annoying your last meal with Nicki and Todd though. But the hat looks great on Mark, and I'm glad to hear it withstood the flight home!

It was a very good meal. Mark has that hat proudly standing on the bookshelf in his room.

LOVE the pictures of you all with Pooh and Tigger. Can't wait for your update on MVMCP!

I like those pics too...but then Tigger is my favorite.

That cactus Santa made me LOL. :lmao:

He was kind of funny looking wasn't he?

That's so sad that they had to leave. :( At least you had several days of fun together.

We had a grea ttime while they were there and are hopeful they'll be back with us in December. And I will see them in April if all goes well.

i love those restraunts, we have one in our town that on the weekends for lunch you can eat for under 10 bucks steak and chicken with plenty of leftovers.

We have several around here too and we have only gone once. I have to say the one in Naples is the best we have ever gone to.

now i have to eat there soon, my belly thanks you for reminding me about it.
:thumbsup2

My pleasure.

sorry about screechy at dinner

I know it happens, but that Mother was certainly not even trying to get him to pipe down.

Thanks Kathy! Got to check it out!

You are most welcome, my friend.

They are beauuuutiful!! I really like them!! ::yes::

Thanks, Camille. I really like them too.

Is it customary for the parent's to send them out? :confused3 I never had a wedding so I'm kinda ignorant to these things. Be quiet, Tim!

No, Alisha should be sending them out. However, her handwriting is absolutely horrible (and I've seen Des'...and hers is worse), so I offered to write out and mail them from here.

Yea, Tim! Geesh! ;)

I asked Tim if he wanted the job.

Your last day did turn out to be pretty good!! :thumbsup2 I'm sorry you had to see your friends leave. :sad1: That's always a hard day for you two gals, but the wonderful thing is knowing you'll be back and you'll get to see her again. :goodvibes

And the day wasn't over and the rest was just as good. I always hate saying goodbye to Nicki...it breaks my heart; I need my sis closer to me.

Have y'all decided when you are moving to FL? Do y'all know what part of FL you want to live in?

The plan is in three years; that will all depend on money, etc. Markie tells me they'll have a baby by then and I won't want to move. We'll either move to the Orlando area if Mark decides to work at Disney or we'll move to the Naples area to be close to Nicki and Todd.

Can't wait to see the party pictures!! :)

I hope to get that update up this afternoon when the boss leaves for the day.

Several things I needed to catch up on! I love the invitations, Kathy! They're beautiful!

Thanks, Michelle. :goodvibes

Always enjoy seeing the silly had pictures! :)

They got some great shots this year...and it was better with two or three of them in the same photo.

Glad you enjoyed Teppan Edo- even though it was bittersweet with Nicki and Todd leaving afterwards. We always enjoy eating there. It's not really any different than any hibachi grill type restaurant we might have around home, but everything's more fun at Disney!

You are right...almost everything is better at Disney.

Can't wait to see your pictures of MVMCP.

Hopefully this afternoon.

Wow! I had a lot to catch up on!

Looks like y'all were having a really fun day in EPCOT! Sorry the breakfast wasn't the best though. However, y'all look like y'all did have fun with the characters. :thumbsup2

We had a blast with the characters and such a perfect day at Epcot.

I love the Christmas decorations in the Land!

I did too; I'm surprised more attractions didn't do a little something.

So sorry it was time for Nicki & Todd to leave y'all.

Me too. :(

Love the pics of the guys with the hats.:thumbsup2

Thank you.

We enjoy Teppan Edo also but not with a screaming baby!

It was a "Screeching Screaming" baby which made it worse.

Too bad you had to say goodbye to friends.

It's always hard to say goodbye to them.

Congrats on winning $$$ on the Superbowl.:thumbsup2

Went right into the Disney fund for June with the girls.

Looking forward to the party update.::yes::

Hopefully this afternoon.

I don't know which pic is my fav..the Mexican minisombreros or the boys with the swords..such determined faces :rotfl:

They are a hoot those boys of ours.

Perhaps Nicki making her "angry face" would've made the baby giggle...;) I don't understand if a child acts up...grab the kiddo and go outside...they just need a moment usually oh well. Some people have no regard sometimes. I get a lot of compliments on my kiddos when we go out, but they know how they are supposed to behave...and they know if they can't behave...we are outta there!!!

I'll have to suggest she make that face the next time. We always took our kids outside if they started getting to the point where we knew it was disturbing others; a lot of people just don't care these days.

Booo. Everyone should do it at least once.

That's what I told her.

So what's it like to have numb tastebuds?:confused3

I told you my husband was weird.

It says all lines are currently busy, but my call is very important to them, so please stay on the line. :confused3

Good one, Mark.

Ever wonder why they had to hang Donald in effigy?

I've often asked myself that; I wonder how the kids feel about it...especially those who don't know what it is supposed to be.

You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.

So very true...except, obviously, in my husband's case.

:rotfl::rotfl2: This one cracked me up!

She is a theatric one, that Des of ours.

Looks like the meal at Japan was a lot of fun. Sorry the good times with Todd and Nicki had to end so soon.

It was a good meal and fun; it was sad to say goodbye.

Hopefully I'm all caught up again!! Lots of great PP pictures all around!!!

You're alive??????

There never does seem to be enough time to share at Disney! :( Thankfully it looks like you guys had a very full final day together! ::yes::

Nope...there's never enough Disney time, and NEVER enough time with my sis.

Love how all you ladies hopped up and got the good character shots while the guys just "chilled" at the table...........:rotfl:

I planned that very well; that way the boys couldn't get up as easily to keep filling their plates either (although the food wasn't good enough that they felt the need so I guess my plan backfired).

My experience at Cape May hasn't been the greatest with the food either. Nothing really bad, just not anything that would make me rate it high on my list to go back over so many other choices.

Nope, nothing outstanding this time around. I know they had a lot more selection when we were there in 2008.

That is just too funny!!! :lmao:

It cracks me up the things he remembers from his youth.

Maybe a Lawyer's office or something.......??? :rolleyes2 Seriously Kathy, I can't believe such a sweet and reserved person would do such a thing.....................but I'm not surprised you did!!! :duck:

He'd fit right in at my law firm! :rotfl2: And you aren't funny at all, MARVIN!

Oh yes, one of my favorites!!! :thumbsup2

I'm happy we finally tried it.

Nice! :goodvibes

Didn't he look cute with his hat? And we all sang to him too to embarrass him some more.

And you got the Hidden Mickey too!!!

I thought you would be the one to notice. :)

Can't wait to read about this..............it is one I really want to try someday! :lovestruc

I'll give you a hint...it was great!

Congrats on getting your airfare, and Yep, it looks like you WILL be there on my birthday!!! :cool1:

Thank you; and just exactly when is your birthday?

DisneyChristmasTripwAndysFamily2012425.jpg

Sorry Kathy - I thought I had already commented on this update, but perhaps I read it late at night when I was passing out from exhaustion.

Anyhow - I hope I pasted the right pictures, because I love these three.

Yeah for Teppan Edo. That is such a fun meal and I haven't eaten there in awhile. Hmmmmm..........maybe I should try for a lunch in June.

Speaking of June - will you be doing a pretrip report? I want to know what time our CMC ADR is. I'm trying to figure out how to get into Epcot that morning for a TT FP and get over to breakfast. Gotta check out the new TT.

Love Mark's new hat from Teppan Edo. How fitting that he got his very own chef's hat.

You guys truly did have an awesome B-day trip! I can only hope that Denny's milestone B-day trip in October is equally as great!

Apparently I never subscribed to this. I am a terrible DISer... I'm subscribing now, I'll catch up later!

Kelly, it is so good to see you...I've missed you.

All caught up! So far it looks like you guys are having a blast! I hope you're doing well, Kathy!

We had a great trip, Kelly...it was near perfect for my special hubby. We are doing well. Getting ready for the wedding which is just now four months away.

Okay...now you have me worried about letting him try on hats on our next trip. :scared1::scared1: I had not heard about that.

Hey, the $6.75 will buy you a Mickey bar. :)

Yay for booking your airfare!

Very excited about the airfare, jen.

Looks like you guys were having a great time in Epcot! Haha, don't blame Des for not wanting to try the Beverly! I've tried it a few times, and while I don't exactly like it, it's not as bad as everyone makes it seem! But still, I wouldn't go out of my way to drink it!

I think it is horrid; I just wanted her to try it one time so I could snap a picture.

I hope you go back...we really enjoyed the meal. Yes, I'm with you...take the kid outside and calm him down; and the worse part is they were 3/4 of the way done with their meal.

So sad Nicki and Todd had to leave you guys! :(

Very, very sad.

"Yay, you're here!" :cool1: was so much better than "Waah, you have to leave." I hope you guys have many more trips together with your growing family and DIS friends in the years ahead. :wizard:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: You are too funny. Yes, it was. We're hoping they are going in December when we go, and we hope to see them in April and will have 10 days with them in Naples in August. :cheer2::cheer2:

Trent just said this past weekend that he wants to go to Teppan Edo again in December, so I guess the first two 'for sure' ADR's for the Christmas trip will be that and 'Ohana - if we can get them.

I hope you can get them both. I don't think Teppan Edo will be too hard; I've heard horror stories of trying to get Ohana. Maybe that is why we've never tried it...too hard to get. :confused3

Keeping up with the chatter !!! I am getting an AP in October , will save money for my Grannie Trip!! But I will have to go again before October 2014 !! Such a Tought thing to HAVE to do:rotfl2:

YAY!!! Rosie is getting an AP. You are going to love it.

Catching up... haven't Dis ed in a week ... :surfweb: & you are an updating marvel...lol...

How dare realy life get in the way of your DIS time.

Very cute photos at Cape May Breakfast so I'm sorry to hear it was just meh... (I've got breakfast ressies for Crystal Palace and Boma in the summer... haven't been to CP so I hope it is good...)

We LOVE both Crystal Palace (don't forget the puffed french toast) and Boma.

It's good to know Mark is a good purse holder...:lmao: It's important to know your skill set...:thumbsup2

I'm glad he is good for something. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I love the photo from Spaceship Earth of the 2 of you in your future kitchen...:thumbsup2

Aren't we just adorable? He looks like a female in that picture.

Great Hats in Mouse Gears... I just love that store... it's become one of my favorites on property...:)

I'm with you...I love that store and I never seem to cover the whole thing; I will rectify that in August for sure.

The Wedding Invites are very pretty... How exciting... it's getting so close...:thumbsup2

Four months from next Thursday (the 14th); I can't believe how quickly it is coming.

The photo of the boys in the Mexican Pavilion looks like you ladies had your own three Calbereros...:rotfl:

And the cutest Calbereros you'll ever see. ;)

I Love that they gave Mark a chef's hat with his cake at Teppan... did they know his hat love?... ;)

I thought perhaps they had been "told", but I hear that they give them to most of the birthday people (well, depending on your chef).

Awwww...Good Byes are really hard...:sad1:

They are horrible...and they always mess up my make-up.

Poor guy! I hope he did at least have SOME pleasant birthday surprises.....

I thought you would be the one to notice.

:teeth: I kept waiting on somebody to post "WHERE?"......

I'll give you a hint...it was great!

Spoiler Alert!!! :scratchin

Thank you; and just exactly when is your birthday?

I told you, silly........August!!! ;)

Yuck! Did Andy (afwdwfan) win that????
No, Kathy! I was stuck here during the Disdads Convention. Had I gone, I'm pretty sure I would have destroyed them all though. The number seems a little weak if you ask me.

Don was the winner. Maybe he'll write about it in a TR sometime. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Sorry Kathy - I thought I had already commented on this update, but perhaps I read it late at night when I was passing out from exhaustion.

I saw you post the other night that you were exhausted...I knew you'd get here when you could.

Anyhow - I hope I pasted the right pictures, because I love these three.

I do too...they bring back happy memories (and Des was there yesterday at Epcot in China).

Yeah for Teppan Edo. That is such a fun meal and I haven't eaten there in awhile. Hmmmmm..........maybe I should try for a lunch in June.

You should try to get it for your June trip.

Speaking of June - will you be doing a pretrip report? I want to know what time our CMC ADR is. I'm trying to figure out how to get into Epcot that morning for a TT FP and get over to breakfast. Gotta check out the new TT.

Yes, I will be doing a PTR as soon as I get this one done. I sent Mary a message as I don't recall what time she made the reservation for. I'll let you know when I hear back from her (I'll send you a Private message here or on FB).

Love Mark's new hat from Teppan Edo. How fitting that he got his very own chef's hat.

Yes, much better than a purse. ;)

You guys truly did have an awesome B-day trip! I can only hope that Denny's milestone B-day trip in October is equally as great!

I'm sure Denny's milestone B-day trip will be just as awesome.

Yes, DIS meets can be short when each group is running this way and that way.

Maybe they missed your comment since you are so seldom here.

I'll give you a hint...it was great!

I have tried to type the next update five times and I keep getting interrupted.

Thank you; and just exactly when is your birthday?

HA HA HA funny man.

No, Kathy! I was stuck here during the Disdads Convention. Had I gone, I'm pretty sure I would have destroyed them all though. The number seems a little weak if you ask me.

Don was the winner. Maybe he'll write about it in a TR sometime. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

That's a shame as I am sure you would have won. DON WON? DON who NEVER finishes a TR until about two years later (although Marv is certainly catching up to that record). How is Don? Tell him I said hi...haven't seen him on here in ages.

After the kids swam, we packed and rested a little, we all got ready to head over to the Magic Kingdom. We walked to El Centro as I wanted a cup of coffee. A stroll to the main building:

We proceeded to

After this, we all decided we needed some dinner since we hadn't had anything to eat since our lunch at Teppan Edo.

Up next, do we eat together or split up? I'll try to do that update tomorrow...I hate this new photobucket.

Ok seriously, do Andy and Des ever look NOT happy? They are just too cute. Sorry for the screeching child at dinner, glad it subsided, that is painful in an enclosed space like that.

So sorry it was your last meal for that trip with Nicki and Todd but hopefully the party eased the pain, it looks like a good time is being had so far!

I feel your pain on photobucket. I upgraded to pro a long time ago so haven't had issues in years and right now, between the organizer not working at all, being forced into the new site when I'd opted out as they old editor is gone and then finding out the new editor isn't nearly as good I am NOT happy!

The invites are darling but why are you doing them? Isn't that a MOB duty? Or is each side sending out their own?

Playing catch up here. I have no idea how work has gotten to be so much ......work lately. :rotfl2:

EPCOT and Teppan Edo - yum. Always enjoy it
The Koi pond and the Hidden Mickey :thumbsup2

I do love CSR- so pretty.

I need to make it to a Christmas party too. Still on my to - do list.
Well won't get done this year either- going too late. :worried:

Sounds like you got some nice rides in - looking forward to the rest of the night.

I love the silly hat pictures from Epcot :)

Yay MVMCP! I love the pictures of the guys having a sword fight after POTC! Having fun is what WDW is all about.

I'm not a fan of the new photobucket either. And now I have no storage space for new trips!

Des really seems to be a Disney Fan, which in your family is a definate plus !!!!!!MK looks awesome bedecked for Christmas !!! Love the Kid at heart playing the drums !!!!! I just know he would Pole Dance with me !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
