Awesome find on the airfare Kathy! I need to start stalking the websites for July.

Love, love love the group funny hat pics. The teeny sombreros are priceless. Great photos of Living with the Land. I never knew they decorated for Christmas.

Teppan Edo looks great. One of these days we'll get there.

I'm so sorry that you had to say goodbye to friends, but what memories you made!

What a bittersweet day. I know how very much you wanted more time with Nicki, but it wasn't in the cards. It looks like you all had a great day though.

Can you post a link to Nicki's food TR?? I haven't read any of her reviews and I would love to!

Great price for the airfare !!!:cool1:Loved all the Hat pix too!!! I have eaten at TE several times and it has always been good !!! The desserts could use some additions though !!!!So sad you had to say goodbye to Nicki and Todd:sad::sad:

Tim, if you promise to bring your beautiful children, you can crash the wedding. :)
So I'm invited? Should I be expecting a save the date or will we just be getting the invitation? :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Sure enough, I just booked for Mark and I round trip to Orlando August 16 - September 1 for $447.60 for the two of us. And what is perfect about it is we have an 8 a.m. flight going to Orlando and our flight coming home isn't until 2 p.m. so we don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to drive from Marco to Orlando. :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:
Awesome! Nice job!

Too bad you couldn't get Des to drink the Beverly. You need to get Mark to try the DISDads Beverly challenge. He'd probably win it. I think the record is somewhere around 18 cups. :crazy2:

I'm sorry for the screaming kid at lunch. I know there is nothing you can do but the parents should of tried something to calm him/her down. Glad you liked Teppan Edo though. I really would like to get back there someday to eat. We had a really good meal there and the kids had a great time.

I'm kinda disappointed there are no crying pictures of you and Nicki. :lmao::lmao:

But before we could go there, we had to stop at Club Cool.
Getting a nice refreshing beverage to take to that photographer?

I was so hoping to get Des to try the Beverly, but she absolutely refused (I think she has been reading the DIS!). Of course, my weird husband had a cup of it and it didn't phase him yet again. He is truly an odd bird!
I still say the nastiness is overrated. It ain't good, but it isn't that revoltingly nasty. I can't believe she wouldn't try it after Mark downed a cup. :rotfl2:

We looked around the Mexican Pavilion for awhile and, of course, had to get hat pictures:

December9Part1113.jpg
Is this the new live action versrion of the 3 Caballeros? :rotfl2::rotfl:

Storyteller:

The Monkey King!!! I always want to stop and ask him if he knows the Lion King. I know... I'm not right.

But I will say that despite the little one screeching, we really enjoyed this meal and will probably go back at some time. It's not as good as the place we go to in Naples, but it wasn't bad at all.

Mark, because it was his birthday, got two special surprises:
I'm glad you all enjoyed the meal at a new place, and I like Mark's birthday surprises. The hat is just too appropriate. It's like they know the legend of the hat pictures.

Des insisted on buying me a Slush in France (I think she wanted to taste it)
Or she was being thoughtful and trying to make the goodbye easier... :thumbsup2

The kids went swimming for a bit
:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Ok, details are needed here...

Did the annoying people all finally pack up and leave, or did it take Andy just snap and start throwing them out of the pool??? :confused3 :confused3

Love all of the crazy hat pictures of the guys! And the one of Des and Andy bowing in China.

Teppan Edo looks nice. Bummer you had a screaming kid annoying your last meal with Nicki and Todd though. But the hat looks great on Mark, and I'm glad to hear it withstood the flight home!

LOVE the pictures of you all with Pooh and Tigger. Can't wait for your update on MVMCP!

That cactus Santa made me LOL. :lmao:

That's so sad that they had to leave. :( At least you had several days of fun together.

i love those restraunts, we have one in our town that on the weekends for lunch you can eat for under 10 bucks steak and chicken with plenty of leftovers.

now i have to eat there soon, my belly thanks you for reminding me about it.
:thumbsup2

sorry about screechy at dinner

I'll be back later witih responses, but I had to share. Alisha ordered the wedding invitations on Friday of last week and they arrived at my house today (I'm writing out the envelopes and stuffing and mailing from here). Here's a copy of the final invite (can't believed my baby gets married in 132 days):

Untitled_zps70902394.jpg

They are beauuuutiful!! I really like them!! ::yes::
Is it customary for the parent's to send them out? :confused3 I never had a wedding so I'm kinda ignorant to these things. Be quiet, Tim!

the invitations are beautiful!

hey Tim, maybe if you offer to DJ they'll invite you :rolleyes1

Yea, Tim! Geesh! ;)

Your last day did turn out to be pretty good!! :thumbsup2 I'm sorry you had to see your friends leave. :sad1: That's always a hard day for you two gals, but the wonderful thing is knowing you'll be back and you'll get to see her again. :goodvibes
Have y'all decided when you are moving to FL? Do y'all know what part of FL you want to live in?

Can't wait to see the party pictures!! :)

Several things I needed to catch up on! I love the invitations, Kathy! They're beautiful!

Always enjoy seeing the silly had pictures! :)

Glad you enjoyed Teppan Edo- even though it was bittersweet with Nicki and Todd leaving afterwards. We always enjoy eating there. It's not really any different than any hibachi grill type restaurant we might have around home, but everything's more fun at Disney!

Can't wait to see your pictures of MVMCP.

Wow! I had a lot to catch up on!

Looks like y'all were having a really fun day in EPCOT! Sorry the breakfast wasn't the best though. However, y'all look like y'all did have fun with the characters. :thumbsup2

I love the Christmas decorations in the Land!

So sorry it was time for Nicki & Todd to leave y'all.

Love the pics of the guys with the hats.:thumbsup2

We enjoy Teppan Edo also but not with a screaming baby!

Too bad you had to say goodbye to friends.

Congrats on winning $$$ on the Superbowl.:thumbsup2

Looking forward to the party update.::yes::

I don't know which pic is my fav..the Mexican minisombreros or the boys with the swords..such determined faces :rotfl:

Perhaps Nicki making her "angry face" would've made the baby giggle...;) I don't understand if a child acts up...grab the kiddo and go outside...they just need a moment usually oh well. Some people have no regard sometimes. I get a lot of compliments on my kiddos when we go out, but they know how they are supposed to behave...and they know if they can't behave...we are outta there!!!

I was so hoping to get Des to try the Beverly, but she absolutely refused (I think she has been reading the DIS!).

Booo. Everyone should do it at least once.

Of course, my weird husband had a cup of it and it didn't phase him yet again. He is truly an odd bird!

So what's it like to have numb tastebuds?:confused3

Let's now Listen to the Land, shall we?

It says all lines are currently busy, but my call is very important to them, so please stay on the line. :confused3

Ever wonder why they had to hang Donald in effigy?

I think someone decided to help someone with his nose

You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.

:rotfl::rotfl2: This one cracked me up!

Looks like the meal at Japan was a lot of fun. Sorry the good times with Todd and Nicki had to end so soon.

Hopefully I'm all caught up again!! Lots of great PP pictures all around!!!

Well, this was the day I was dreading almost as much as my own departure day in a couple of days. Todd and Nicki would be leaving us later this afternoon. Although I knew we'd have a lot of fun with Andy and Des, I didn't want sis and her hubby to leave. But they did have to go to work the next day.
There never does seem to be enough time to share at Disney! :( Thankfully it looks like you guys had a very full final day together! ::yes::

Yes, even the boys got in on the action:

December9Part1006.jpg
Love how all you ladies hopped up and got the good character shots while the guys just "chilled" at the table...........:rotfl:

We took care of the bill (and, by the way, we won't be back; first, they wanted to stick us in a side room behind a door and we were one of the first people there...I think not said Nicki; and the food just wasn't all that good--we prefer Crystal Palace and Tusker House), and then headed out.
My experience at Cape May hasn't been the greatest with the food either. Nothing really bad, just not anything that would make me rate it high on my list to go back over so many other choices.

Notice Andy in this picture:

Photo0304FourBySix.jpg

He used to ALWAYS pull the character's tongue or tail when he was little. :rotfl2:
That is just too funny!!! :lmao:

And crabby photographer took the Minnie photos and the group shot. He wasn't too happy about it and as we left the building I loudly said so he could here: "Someone needs to get a new job where it's okay to not be pleasant to the guests."
Maybe a Lawyer's office or something.......??? :rolleyes2 Seriously Kathy, I can't believe such a sweet and reserved person would do such a thing.....................but I'm not surprised you did!!! :duck:

We were dining here:

December9Part1151.jpg
Oh yes, one of my favorites!!! :thumbsup2

Mark, because it was his birthday, got two special surprises:

December9Part1171.jpg

December9Part1172.jpg
(this hat came home with us in the suitcase and held up pretty good)
Nice! :goodvibes

As we left the restaurant, I had to get a picture of the fish in the pond:

December9Part1173.jpg
And you got the Hidden Mickey too!!!

We decided at this point that we were done with what we wanted to do at Epcot and took a bus back to the Coronado. The kids went swimming for a bit and I did some packing and organizing of the room and then Mark and I just relaxed for a little bit. And why would be relaxing you might ask? Because we had a party to go to in a couple of hours.

Up next, our first ever MVMCP. Would we love it?
Can't wait to read about this..............it is one I really want to try someday! :lovestruc

Yep, main reason I'm going...I knew it was your birthday. Now whether we are actually there on your birthday, I do not know.
After playing with Priceline off and on yesterday when they had round trip airfare posted for Air Tran at $223.00 per person and not being able to book it (it kept saying the deal couldn't go through), I thought I'd try one more time this morning before Southwest comes out with their prices tomorrow.

Sure enough, I just booked for Mark and I round trip to Orlando August 16 - September 1 for $447.60 for the two of us.
Congrats on getting your airfare, and Yep, it looks like you WILL be there on my birthday!!! :cool1:

Apparently I never subscribed to this. I am a terrible DISer... I'm subscribing now, I'll catch up later!

Call me a geek but I love the greenhouse section of Living with the Land. Seeing all of the various plants that they grow is so neat to me.

Okay, so after seeing the sculpture in Norway, I now know that I'm not part Irish after all. I've got to have some Norwegian blood in me. Just look at the flat chest. :rotfl2:

I enjoy seeing the plants, too. I do have Norwegian in me and I look just like that statue. :rotfl:

Great airfare! And good job winning $$. Tonight is my Bingo night so wish me luck. Whatever I win goes in My Disney Pot.

Hope you won at Bingo.

I am so jealous you get to go to Disney 3 or maybe 4 times in one year! Now I am reetired so my trips will be few and far between I fear. But at least i know I will be ther 11/30-12/7 this year.Yeah!!!!!!

Trust me...3 or 4 times is NOT the normal for us. We just want to get as much use out of our Annual Passes as we can. :)

yay on winning some $$ last night! and getting a good price on airfare :cool1:

Thanks, Lisa.

looks like you all enjoyed epcot and the beverages :rotfl: great hat shots with the boys!

The boys were in silly moods on that particular day.

we are planning to have lunch there with some of my scrap DIS friends...bummer about the screaming kid, funny the CM didn't step in :confused3

I truly believe the parent should have stepped in. Take the child to the restroom or outside until he is under control...there was really no excuse for the continual screeching.

know you were sad to say good-bye to Nicki and Todd

looking forward to seeing your photos from MVMCP

Yes, I didn't want to say goodbye. I'm going to try to do an update tomorrow or Thursday.

I've tasted the Beverly but never at Epcot. Living in Atlanta with World of Coke here, I've never had the urge to stop in the one in Epcot.

I always forget that World of Coke is in Atlanta.

That's the second time today I've seen that "naked" statue from Norway in a TR. :scared1: I don't think I've ever seen it in person.

You'll have to check it out on your upcoming visit.

I think the China hat picture is the best one yet. The guys look so serious with their bowing. :rotfl:

They were cracking me up; I had to take a couple shots becasue I was laughing so hard.

Bummer for the last meal with friends. :( And yuck to the screaming baby. But at least he calmed down and you had a good meal.

The meal was very good, although sad.

Great pictures with Pooh and Tigger. I don't think a lot of people even know that Meet & Greet is there. I've never seen a line.

I've only seen a line once and that was during a downpour.

Somehow, I knew that there would be tears in that last update. I know that it's hard saying goodbye but you made some great memories.

Yep, definitely tears and this time I started shedding them first. I hate saying goodbye. And now that I don't know if we're taking an April business trip, it's going to be a longggggggggggggggggggggg time until August. :sad2:

Awesome find on the airfare Kathy! I need to start stalking the websites for July.

You should check often as you never know when that "discount" will pop up.

Love, love love the group funny hat pics. The teeny sombreros are priceless. Great photos of Living with the Land. I never knew they decorated for Christmas.

I thought the teeny sombreros were much funnier than the oversized ones. Being our first Christmas trip, I didn't know they decorated in The Land either...and I'd never seen pictures prior to that.

Teppan Edo looks great. One of these days we'll get there.

With all the sit downs you do, I'm surprised you haven't hit it. It's very good.

I'm so sorry that you had to say goodbye to friends, but what memories you made!

We made the best of memories on this trip.

What a bittersweet day. I know how very much you wanted more time with Nicki, but it wasn't in the cards. It looks like you all had a great day though.

Can you post a link to Nicki's food TR?? I haven't read any of her reviews and I would love to!

The problem is I can never have enough time with my little sis. I see that you got the link for her dining review. :thumbsup2

Great price for the airfare !!!:cool1:Loved all the Hat pix too!!! I have eaten at TE several times and it has always been good !!! The desserts could use some additions though !!!!So sad you had to say goodbye to Nicki and Todd:sad::sad:

Thanks, Rosie. I knew you had been at TE several times and always enjoyed. I was NOT impressed with the dessert menu at all.

So I'm invited? Should I be expecting a save the date or will we just be getting the invitation? :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm sure I could sneak one to you...with as many people as are being invited, what the heck is 4 (or 5) more. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Awesome! Nice job!

Thank you sir.

Too bad you couldn't get Des to drink the Beverly. You need to get Mark to try the DISDads Beverly challenge. He'd probably win it. I think the record is somewhere around 18 cups. :crazy2:

Yuck! Did Andy (afwdwfan) win that????

I'm sorry for the screaming kid at lunch. I know there is nothing you can do but the parents should of tried something to calm him/her down. Glad you liked Teppan Edo though. I really would like to get back there someday to eat. We had a really good meal there and the kids had a great time.

I totally understand tired or cranky children (I had my own), but this was out of control at one point. We really did enjoy our meal there.

I'm kinda disappointed there are no crying pictures of you and Nicki. :lmao::lmao:

I'll be sure to have Mark take some the next time I have to say goodbye to her...just for you.

I'll finish up responses after dinner; have to get a fax out and then head for the train.
