24 hr quick service places

We'll be arriving in Orlando close to midnight and after a 4+hour flight we'll probably be hungry. We have the quick service dining plan, will be staying at POP and have a rental car, so we can get around. I know the food court at POP closes at midnight, but is there somewhere else we can go to get food after 12? I hate to buy food out of pocket somewhere since we always have extra dining credits at the end of our trip. We have never checked out with less than 10 credits, so if I can use them up it would be better.

Thanks for any suggestions!

You might want to think about just dropping the dining plan and go OOP. Sounds like you're losing a lot of cash by being on the plan..

We are staying with the S/P/D so the dining plan was discounted (?) some amount I believe. We actually paid full price one and had to stuff ourselves silly to get our money's worth. After that, we usually get free dining, but unfortunately not this time.

The quick service at the Grand Floridian was open 24 hours when we stayed there last year.

I agree with OPs if you have that many credits left it would benefit you to pay OOP for your meals. Unless you go to alot of the more expensive places you are likely to pay more for the DP. This was different a few years ago, the value was in the DP...not so much anymore. They have cut back on what you actually get on the plan, adding it up for us we would save by paying OOP. :rolleyes1 anyhow...lol!! If you chose to forgo the DP or even for this meal, right outside of Disney is Steak N Shake!! This is a fifty diner type feel. Very inexpensive, great atmosphere and service. Burgers, fries, shakes were tasty. For 10 of us the bill came to 86.00 and that was with sodas and shakes!! Can't wait to go back there in Sept! :cool1: Good luck deciding!

Since you have a car, sounds like GF is right for you. If you get checked in before midnight, you may still be able to order Pizza at Pop. I think they stop delivering at midnight though. Im not sure if they deliver later on certain nights or peak times or anything.

I think pizza delivery is 2 credits per person, that would eat up some of your unused credits. If you get there in time. Otherwise it sounds like GF is your only choice. Picabu at Dolphin is open 24 hrs but not on the plan. I can't imagine having 10 credits leftover and feeling like the DDP is for me! JMO!! :goodvibes

Is Capt Cooks at the Poly still open 24hrs? I know they used to be but I haven't had occasion to stop in there late at night in a few years so I don't know if that's still true. Used to be a nice pop over at the end of a hard-ticket party or late EMH rather than joining the closing time stampede straight to the buses.

Pop is just 2 credits total per pizza. Ive done it several times at the values.

Deluxe hotels charge 2 per person because it is considered room service.
