Edit- Tours? What to book ahead?

Im still a bit confused on what DCL things need to be booked or reserved in advance.
We are skipping palo, no kids in nursery, wont do a spa visit and I think on Cozumel we are going to just hit the beach on our own via taxi. What else do ppl book ahead? Am I missing anything important? Its so weird after booking WDW 2 years in a row and worrying about ARDs to have nothing I must reserve. TY

I don't think you need to book anything ahead.

All the booking in advanced things you already mentioned and you're not going to do them so then you're settled.

Maybe other excursions then Cozumel, or a wine package (but the wine package can be done onboard).

Thanks, good to know we are set. We only visit Cozumel and CC. I don't drink wine.

Do your online check in on you day marked in cruise activities to get your Port Arrival time. Besides that I think are good. I know you do not need the nursery but if you have kids that are in the kids clubs I think there is a form you fill out on your online check-in (not sure). And yes it is a weird feeling not to have to have a bunch of reservations compared to the ADR at WDW.

Not necessarily DCL but you want to have your pre- and post-cruise transportation planned, including a hotel stay if necessary.

Enjoy your cruise!

Do you drink 'other' alcohol? There are tastings throughout the trip (champagne, margaritas, whiskey, a mixology class, etc......) that are fun.

You don't so much need to book them before but knowing to look for them on the Navigators and then booking them while on ship is important. My husband and I 'caught' on mid way through our cruise and we were sad to see that we missed some tastings.

Also, are you on the Wonder/ Magic or Fantasy/Dream? Are you interested in Remy?

You couldn't book them before embarkation even if you wanted to. Only available once onboard.

Thanks, I'm on Wonder. I don't think Remy is wonder? I dont even know what it is lol
I have my eye on tequila and beer tasting!
All ready to do my OL check In Monday:cool1: I think I have all pertinent info aside from flight details, which I can add later as I understand it? We're staying in Miami beach after so planned to grab a cab, no planning needed there I guess. Looked at car services from airport and from hotel back but nothing firmed up.

I am trying to find a list of tours and things on board we might want to check out but on DCL site its not listing our particular 5 night sailing(it says bahamas and we arent on that one.) Its Wonder, 5 night caribbean.
I beleive there are ship tours, food events? I would love to get more info so we know what to schedule once we board and visit GS. TIA
Edit- bu,ping to get more info- question in last post

None of these are booked before boarding the ship. You can check out the posted Navigators for other 5-night cruises to get an idea of what might be offered as far as onboard tours, cooking classes, tastings, etc. Most are free, though the tastings are maybe $15. Some require you to sign-up at Guest Services onboard, others you simply show-up at the designated time/location. You can stop by Guest Services when you first board (or anytime after) and inquire about activities needing you to sign-up.

Enjoy your cruise!

No Remy on the Wonder. The Wonder was our first ship too! You will have a "wonder"ful time!

Best advise is to read your Navigators. We took different colored highlighters with us so that each person could highlight what they wanted to do. It was a good way to figure out where everyone in my family was going and from there the Wave phones helped pull everyone back together!

Thanks, I do know I cant book them ahead, Ill visit GS- I wanted to gather info so when I board I am prepared and dont have to sort through the info to choose. I wasnt sure how quickly they fill as it seems many posters go right to GS to grab these activities.
Ill look for the navigators posted. I am assuming the "B" itinerary navigator is the same as the "A" bc I have not been able to find my itinerary navagator.
