That is a very good price for both the rooms and the Eurostar (especially since I assume it's the direct train?)!
Thank god you think I've got a good deal were not used to booking disney hotels as we usually stay at the Marriott
Yes the Eurostar we have booked is the direct train, I priced the Monday and it was £129 each and when I checked the Sunday it dropped down to £79!
Feeling my trip is a bit of a bargain which will help with appeasing my husband lol!
There are 3 ways of getting from London to
Disneyland using the Eurostar, and tickets for these ways go on sale at different times:
- Direct London-Disneyland train, which takes just under 3 hours. From the Eurostar website: "Direct Eurostar trains from the UK to Disneyland® Paris leave at 10:17 and leave from Disneyland® Paris to the UK at 18:02 daily but these will not run on Tuesdays and Saturdays except during UK school holidays." Tickets for this are released several months in advance (am assuming this is what Carly_jones booked). Also tend to be more expensive, I've not yet managed to get a £69 return fare for this!
- London-Paris, then RER from Paris Gare du Nord to Disneyland. London-Paris Eurostar tickets usually go on sale 4 months in advance (so this is probably what you're seeing at the moment for until the end of May).
- London-Lille-Disneyland (London-Lille on Eurostar, then Lille-Disneyland on TGV). This takes around 3-5 hours depending on the connections. Tickets for this go on sale 3 months before - I usually find it easier to get a £69 return using this route!
