I originally had a dinner ressie for Les Chefs de France but changed it to Via Napoli and now im regretting that. Of the two restaurants, what do you prefer?

Don't regret it! It is a tough call between these two restaurants, and a great choice to have to make. We love both...love everything about Les Chefs, BUT we were completely blown away by VN last trip and now it is a must-do!

Chefs de France by far. I have eaten at Via Napoli twice. The first time was 'meh' but I decided to give it a second chance. Big mistake. It was by far the worst service I have ever had in a Disney restaurant. The waiter gaves us half filled drinks, never returned for refills -- we had to flag him down. My friend's food was delivered ice cold, when we finally got him to our table to tell him (after we asked a bus boy to find him) he stared at us blankly when we told him. We had to suggest that she get a new entree. When we tried to order desert, another table waved him over and he left our table when we in the middle of telling him what we wanted. We ended up getting funnel cakes at American Adventure.

Totally agree. I love both a lot. But i was very impressed with via in terms of food and service. Their pizza and desserts are to die for. Esp the pizza. The service was amazing. Best service i ever had. Both are good choices but via is my favourite.

I love both restaurants, so either would be a good choice. VN has a nice and airy feel to it and the food is very good. I really like the arancini appetizer. The pizza is thin crust and very good. The seafood pasta (frutti de mare) is also really good. The Coppa Di Brutti Ma Buoni sundae (ugly but good sundae) is one of my favorite desserts. Enjoy!

You won't regret it. Via Napoli is excellent. We had great service and great food. Loved the atmosphere, too. Chefs food is so bland. Dumbed down, Americanized French food. I would never eat there again.

Via Napoli HANDS DOWN

I LOVE it....food is excellent, best pizza I've ever had anywhere...service has always been great, and the ugly cookie ice cream dessert with cherries is DIVINE!!

Le Chefs is just ok, I didn't think it was anything special

I really enjoy them both but I'd pick Via Napoli.

Via Napoli has excellent pizza and pasta. Plus the atmosphere is fun. You can watch the pizza being cooked in giant pizza ovens that look like faces. You can't find that everywhere.

We had lunch at Via Napoli for the first time TODAY and it was excellent. Would definitely return next trip.:thumbsup2 Food was very good and service was excellent. Maybe the poster who had a bad experience was there on an "off" day?:confused3 There were several servers other than the one who took our order who came by our table to fill waters and even offered tea. And another came by clearing plates a few times. We sat in the open porch area which was so perfect as it was a beautiful day today. Stay tuned for a review with photos.:goodvibes

Last December my mother and I ate at Via Napoli for lunch and we were very impressed! Our waiter was efficient and friendly, the atmosphere was fun and lively, and that pizza- it is spectacular! Even if you choose to go with another entree, I have heard very good things about most of their menu choices.

I have never dined at Les Chefs, so I can't speak from experience, although I generally read mixed reviews regarding it. Personally, I'd probably choose to return to VN, but there's no harm in giving Les Chefs a try! :)

It just goes to show how important service is when you dine. My whole family still talks about Via Napoli after our vacation in Oct/Nov. Our server was personable, professional, and fantastic with our kids. Everything exceeded our expectations. We loved it! I'm taking my mom there in May. I don't anticipate that our next server will be as good, but I hope he/she is, so my mom has that same experience :) I'm a pizza fanatic, so I was in heaven!

Wow, you're right. I am actually really surprised about all the love Via Napoli is getting right now. My experience and server wereso sub par, it really ruined the restaurant for me.

Ok, so here's a teaser for Via Napoli...these are the Arancini, their signature appetizer which is basically fried mozzarella and risotto with a ragu center, delicious, the best fried cheese I've ever had!

We also had the Prosciutto de Melone pizza which I was hesitant about ordering by our server highly recommended it so I went for it and what a delight!! This is the pizza with fresh mozzarella, arugula, cantaloupe slices and huge slices of prosciutto on their amazing pizza crust! To die for!!

So upsetting I could only eat half (so note: if you're not a big eater or want to try different things it's easily shared by 2) especially after having the app and some of my dd's veal parm and that was excellent as well. So when asked about this place or Le Chefs I will so vote for Via Napoli, a new winner on our list!!

I will be writing a FULL review with photos on my website within the next day so be sure to check it out @ http://www.disneydiningreviews.com :thumbsup2

And lots more NEW reviews are coming this week.

Our family of 4 like Chef's. We have tried VN 3 times are were underwelmed. Even the kids (10, 13) have asked not to go back. Most likely will not return.

LOL, I guess it's all based on experience. It's kinda funny because I have read NOTHING but great reviews about Via Napoli over the past few months which is why we decided to try it and it was a great experience for us, not one bad review, until I post my "positive" experience and 2 neg reviews after, just funny...:dance3:

I agree 100%, it really is an exceptional blending of flavors. I've had that pizza on 4 different occassions and every time I have it, it seems to taste even better!!
