Not seeing anything much better than the spring discount though....bummer!

Is Easter blocked out? Most of our dates are blocked out and I was considering an AP if the discount was good enough......

Yes no Easter dates, the new AP rate starts 4/7....I think the old one ended 3/22....so nothing in between

I read it again & it says "most" dates starting April 2nd, not 7th...here's what I copy & pasted -

Passholders, plan a springtime getaway at Walt Disney World Resort and make the most of your Annual Pass! Book early—by March 31, 2013—and enjoy lower rates at select Disney Resort hotels, valid for stays most nights April 2 through June 3, 2013.

For example, stay in a standard room at Disney's All-Star Music Resort starting at just $82 per night, plus tax for stays most Sunday to Thursday nights April 7 through May 30, 2013. Explore other great nightly rates, including weekends, available at select Disney Resort hotels.

Wow! With the Spring promo going until 6/14 I am surprised they stopped at 6/2. :confused3

Oh well, at least with the next release my entire trip dates will be covered (6/5 to 6/19) so I won't need a split reservation.

Fingers crossed that I will get an extra 5% off! :wizard:

(But how were the rates for this latest release in comparison to the Spring promo? I saw someone said Spring was better for them...)

I'm not impressed with AP rates. Doesn't even include AKV Jambo or Kidani or BLT. The only room at Poly for my dates was CL Garden...no non-Cl rooms at all. I had written per nt rates down for Spring Promo so here they are vs. AP (includes taxes):

OKW 1BR - $445 SP, $410 AP
BWV 1BR - $461 SP, $429 AP
WL bunk standard - $386 SP, $363 AP
AKL bunk pool - $329 SP, $308 AP

so a little better with AP but nothing spectacular!

We ended up booking OKW 1BR but will look to rent points as well.

I searched AP rates for the BC 4/10-4/18. There was only a pool view or club level. The spring discount rates were better for me as I could book standard and it included the one day base which I can use towards my next ap upgrade.

Useless. Same as the Fl Res rate for us for April 18-21 at POR or POFQ. We got a much better deal last week doing a bounceback rate. We were at POR for a few days and got a bounceback for April for only $507 at POFQ but to do Fl Res or Passholder for the same dates at POFQ would be $656. Crazy.

as one waiting to activate their AP on vacation, thank you for posting:thumbsup2. It is weird they didn't coordinate the discount to run with the current promo.:confused3

OP my trip begins on 6/8, can you repost when the next round is released please?:goodvibes Currently @ ASMu standard paying $129 for Saturday and $109 for weekdays:eek:, the $82 rate would be welcome at this point!

I was hoping to see another 5% off current promo, didn't see anything posted for moderates (doubtful POR would have any great deals, hoping for CBR). Was hoping to be able to switch over to a moderate, doesn't appear likely now.

We are going the end of May and the AP rate saved me over $300 over the Spring discount. All levels of rooms at the Poly appeared to be available when I checked for our travel dates.

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering why they did not put up the percentage off. Makes sense if it is not much better than the spring offer. Still, every little bit helps!

Try calling. I have had experience in the past where the website had no availability, but when I called CRO there were rooms available.

:cool1:
Just called and saved $100 over my Disney Visa rate!!! Yay!

It looks like we can save more by booking before March 1st.... that's a nice little bonus!!!:thumbsup2
Otherwise the AP rate after March 1st is the same as the Visa rate.

Anyway!!!! :cool1: That's another $100 to cover a couple meals for sure!

The AP rate at the Poly is the same as the spring offer. Very disappointing. The benefits of being a passholder are getting slim

We were looking at the week after Easter, but I think we will end up waiting until July. Just not impressed with AP discounts anymore:worried:
