So what would you create? Waste of space spinoff.

It seems most people agree there is a lot of wasted space as WDW. What would you replace the existing space with? I'd love to hear some ideas.

I don't have any specific ideas, just certain movies or character I would like to see something done with.

1. Cars (rumored to be creating a cars land?)
2. I would like to see Merida and Brave represented somewhere/somehow
3. I would like to see a villains attraction with a restaurant and villain character meal
4. They need something similar to "spider man" from Universal. That type of technology/thrill ride type.
5. Something else Phineas and ferb related...some sort of 4d or 4D based ride. Maybe something that makes you feel like you are inside some of the inventions?

This would be AWESOME. In hypothetical world, they could place it somewhere near the Haunted Mansion, or I guess Tower of Terror to make DHS more of a draw.

I also agree that they should go all-out with a Star Wars themed land.

I know this isn't possible because of legal issues, but it would be great for them to be able to do something with The Avengers characters, too. That franchise is HUGE, and I'd much rather see Avengers land than Avatarland (not in Animal Kingdom, obviously). If Disney fully capitalized on Star Wars and The Avengers, I think that DHS would go from what some people consider to be a half day park to a multi-day park like MK.

A North American section in Animal Kingdom complete with a ride that simulates a cross-country wagon trip that settlers would have taken in the 1800's (think safari with deer and antelope instead of elephants & giraffes) :thumbsup2

I like that! And bison! Of course that begs to add native Americans. And the settlers kinda slaughtered both, so the politically correct way to do it might be somewhat impossible...

Yeah, you could probably leave out the death & destruction part :rotfl2:

I just think about how many international travelers comes to Disney & how very few opportunities there are even at zoos or anywhere outside National Parks to see native North American animals.

Oh, total side note: recent studies have shown the bison weren't really slaughtered by settlers (despite their best efforts). The bison were simply too numerous & too widespread to have died off as quickly as they did based on records from bison hunters and travelers of that time. The real culprit was tick-born disease that came up from Texas on longhorn cattle. Same reason Texas cattle weren't permitted in Missouri or other parts after the Civil War (though at the time, nobody knew it was the ticks that were the problem, just that when TX cattle mixed with MO cattle, MO cattle died).

Great idea, with bison of course. :)

I want Mr. Toad's Wild Ride back. (I close my eyes on Pooh and pretend)

Figment is so cute, I would love to see his attraction turned into something awesome.

I LIKE it!

An Incredibles coaster

A sushi restaurant featuring dining with Monster's Inc Characters

A Tatooine dark ride where you ride in a land speeder

An Up themed flying ballon ride ( like Dumbo or flying carpets.)

Chicken Little's Acorn Spin ( like tilt a whirl). I feel that Chicken Little was too quickly forgotten.

A Flying Ray ride themed like Mr. Ray from Nemo.

Love the villians idea too.
I would like to see something Tangled (like the snuggly duckling) something Princess and the frog and a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
