So, my 30th birthday is in March. I decided that in honor of my birthday, I want to have 30 Disney Magical Moments in my 30th year. There are a few on my list already (Rope drop at Magic Kingdom, eating my favorite Mickey Mouse Ice Cream on a stick in front of the castle, dinner with the princesses... And of course to Winning Disney time sweepstakes! Anyway, anyone else have ideas for great Disney magical moments?

I am celebrating 30 at disney this year too! I would add... ride in the front of the monorail... wear a happy birthday button everywhere....

I may have to steal your idea of 30 Disney magical moments. My mom & I are going for the first time alone (no dad or hubby).

I didn't think that they allowed people in the front of the monorail anymore??? How about finding and meeting PUSH the talking trash can? Or getting a caricature drawn? At AK find Miss DiVIne? What about doing a tour? Have fun and Happy Birthday!

My most magical Disney moment was having a seat by the window at Cinderella's castle during the fireworks.

Have a late dining reservation at EPCOT so that by the time you're done, you are the only ones walking back to the entrance. Actually, that goes for any of the parks.

I agree with the late reservations. We had the latest we could get at the castle, so when we came out it was just us. My nephew and I ran around the front of the castle chasing dragons. This continued down Main Street, down to the buses until he passed out :) still one of my best memories.

OP, you've got great ideas so far. I'd love to see what other ideas come out of this!

It sounds pretty cheesy, but the hall of presidents is magical (at least inspirational) regardless of your political affiliation. I'll be going back Saturday (2 days!!), so I'm excited to get some magical moments myself.

swebb I'll be in WDW for my birthday in March too! Can't wait.
Love experiencing Disney Magic! pixiedust:

Here's something you may not realize...
Bibbidi Bobbity Boutique does Princesses of ALL ages! I'm over 40.
I got a BBB makeover on my birthday 2 years ago at the BBB in MK.
I was all dolled up and looked like a Disney Princess!

I experienced several Magical Moments that day!
After my makeover first thing in the morning I went to rent a locker, and they made a fuss over me and gave me a Magical moment certificate and free locker for the day!

Then I went to Main street bakery for a cinnamon roll and coffee, and they also made a fuss and gave me a HUGE pre-wrapped birthday cookie, which I promptly took to my locker to enjoy later. :)

I also got to meet Rapunzel and Flynn and got to dance with Flynn.
THanks to the photopass photographer who got some great pics of my dance with Flynn.

That night during the late night Electrical parade....Pete atop his Dragon, recognized my birthday and said Happy Birthday Michelle! It was awesome.

The one bit of Disney Magic I hope to experience someday is to get chosen to be in one of the parades. Though going as a solo traveller I wonder if that will ever happen.

I love it!! Great ideas! I didn't think of the late dining reservations. The bibbiddi bobbidy boutique sounds fun! I love it!

Also, it looks like BBB is now only for the small humans. But.. I do have a princess crown from my last trip.. so I can princessify myself!

As far as my makeover at BBB, it was 2 yrs ago in the Magic Kingdom salon.

Someone else had told me that they do any age...so I called BBB directly to ask and they confirmed it. I made my appointment that day to get done up on my birthday. I had one of the first appointments in the morning at 8am :)

I got hair & makeup done. I brought my own tiara, that I bought in Downtown Disney @ Arribas and a shirt to change into after my make-over. They also gave me the sash that said Birthday Princess on it, and I wore it all day and made me a special birthday button that said "Princess Michelle" on it.
How do u post a picture on here? I could post a pic of me after I had my appointment.

Unless they have changed things...
If it's something you want to do, call BBB directly 407-WDW-STYLE and ask. They open at 8am each morning. :)

Enjoy your celebration. Dh and I will be celebrating our 30th anniversary at wdw this year. What about picking a pearl in Japan and don't forget to get a special christmas ornament to remember the day.

Oh my goodness, going to BBB would be amazing! I've always wanted to go but missed the cutoff age by a few years when it first opened. I will definitely be calling to find out! :goodvibes

Definately check it out.
It was one of the most fun things I have done as an adult!

lydzma, I'm from the burgh too! :thumbsup2
LOL we're going to be there at the same time :P

They no longer offer BB for adults. However you can make an appointed at one of the resort salons and get a princess "make over" An updo and make up. Wear a nice outfit/dress and then head for MK and do CRT :)

Before I saw that you have Wishes cruise on your list, I was going to suggest Illuminations cruise.

I wanted to update my list. :) My first magical moment was created by my family and friends. My sister ordered amazing cake that was definitely Disney world themed. I got gift cards so I can use them for a spring break trip. :) Nemo and Squirt stuffed characters were also a gift from a friend to add to my classroom decorations.
I also have to add the special snacks at Epcot for the flower and garden festival. I'm most excited to try the Dole Whip with rum!!

What an AWESOME idea!!!!! I hope you don't mind, but I'm doing this for my 50th. I'm usually the type of person that quietly lets my birthday go by and was especially freaked about turning 40. When I realized the sky didn't fall in on me, I decided that I was going to plan my ultimate 50th bday celebration at Disney. It's still 2 years away, but I'm already saving and I cannot wait.

1. Stay at Beach Club resort
2. My bday at CA Grill during fireworks
3. rope drops at each park
4. Tonga Toast
5. Watching the sun come up while sitting on the beach at Poly
6. HoopDeDoo Review
7. Jelly Rolls
8. Fish n Chips
9. Eating/drinking around the world
10. Monorail loop for drinks/apps
11. Banana Bread pudding
12. Specialty cake
13. Splash Mtn at night
14. Watching Illuminations then trying to get to Wishes on time (it's doable and so much fun)
15. Finding all the hidden bars/ restaurants in Epcot resorts
16. Watch Electrical Water Parade
17. Being part of the Dance Party in Tomorrowland at Midnight (do they still do that?)

Oh this is so much fun. I'm going to keep a close eye on this post. Thanks so much. I definitely want that bday banner.

I think that is awesome!! I cant remember if this was suggested her, or f I read about it, but one f my magical moments will be to make magical moments for others! On my diney bucket list is to be Chosen as ami, f the day at magic kingdom!
