Pre-purchased picture packages

It's been about a year and a half since I cruised last. I'm interested in purchasing the picture package that was available pre-cruise on the DCL website. Either I'm missing it or they don't offer it anymore. Does anyone know if this is still available?

Also, my mom's cruising with us this time but in her own stateroom which is linked to ours. If my daughter or myself take pictures with her would those show up under my stateroom account? I'm considering buying the c.d this time but I want her and I to share the cost and have all our pictures together.

Thanks in advance.

There is no pre-cruise photo package. Here is a current price list for the photo packages. The CD is one per room. As long as one of you from your room (figuring that your room is the one purchasing the CD) is in the photo with her, all photos should show up on your CD.

Thanks for the update. There use to be a package that was like $80 I think for (5) 8x10's but I guess they did away with it.

Is that c.d price for a 5 night cruise? $349

I've heard it varies depending the cruise length.

That's the price for a 7 night cruise. I think the 5 night may be $299. Plus $50 if you want prints of all the pictures on the CD.

I saw a post from last year that said 5 night was $249, but that was before the recent changes (new 10 & 20 cd options, etc).

make sure to always scan your stateroom card even if it's a photo of your mom and then all pics will be on one card and you can go in together on the photo package. We just got back from our cruise and my sis was in a different stateroom and we always scanned my card and even pictures of her alone were on my account. If you stop at Disney World, make sure to do the same thing there with the photo card they give you.

Great info! Thanks!

sorry, dont mean to highjack the OP thread, but does anyone know the price of the CD on a 12 night cruise. Also if we do back to back cruise can you put put the photos from both cruises on one CD even though we pay for 2 CDs or do they close the account after the cruise is over

Don't have an answer as to a 12 night, as I don't think they've done any yet. But on our 14 night Hawaii in October, the CD was $399.95 with CD & prints $474.95.

Technically, each leg of a B2B is a separate cruise, and the CD should be one per cruise. That would mean it's 2 CDs. Although, I believe I read that someone was able to carry over a photo package (20 photos) on a B2B. So, maybe?

I thought that if you had 2 rooms linked to one reservation, you could get all of the pictures on one CD?

Only if one of the rooms has Mom and child(ren) in it and the other room has Dad and child(ren). The CD is for nuclear family, not extended.

Thank you very much :)

If I remember correctly, last time we cruised a 6x8 counted as 1 and the 8x10 counted as 2 pictures towards your total. So you could get say 10-6x8's or 5-8x10's for the 10 photo package.
Is this still the case or is 1 picture counted as 1 picture regardless of size?

No, a picture is a picture, regardless of size. 10 photos = 10 photos; 20 photos = 20 photos.
