It's FRIDAY!!!

Well, we have a lite dusting of sn*w on the ground and my stress level is on overload... because DS16 is driving to school.... I know he will do well but I am a worry wart...

Ok, we are still on Baby Watch 2013!! My day I picked his tomorrow.. so little one needs to get his acted together!!

Hope everyone is feeling better who have been under the weather.

So the plan for today is:

make lunches x 3
DH out the door
check the news to see how the weather is down w/ PJ (freezing rain - YUCK)
once over house
boys up and morning routine
DS16 to school; then work afterwards
take DS12 to school
home for a small nap
ck the status on a few things
read more about a program DS12 wants to join (need costs)
verify 4-H levels and what books are needed for enrollment in Feb.
scrapbook
pick up DS12
homework supervisor
DS16 home from work
quick dinner before DH and DS16 have to leave
DH and DS16 to game
scrapbook a little more while they are gone
DS12 wants to watch a movie

Hi y'all! I haven't been around in quite awhile, but we now have a new store manager!!! He's on his 2nd week with us and it looks like life at Michaels will be good again! It's so nice to come home and not be totally wiped out.

Nan, I'm sure your DS will do a great job driving in the snow, but I know I'd be worrying too.

My day:
Clean up kitchen
laundry
grocery store
scrap at least 1 page
work - I close tonight

yeah!!! for Friday
I"m hoping to get the cokes set up in the back stock (again)
it should be a good day - not as hot as yesterday - my car said 85 when I went to pick up milk
I still need to work on Belle - I didn't get on inkscape at all yesterday
I did glue down what I cut for Ariel now to figure out what to use it for - pick the sketch from one of the magic kingdom swap - but changed it just alittle, I'll have to post the LO & let ya'll think up ideas while I"m at work

Its friday!

Expecting snow to start here about 1 p.m., so hoping boys get out right after lunch. Will mean I get to go home early too!

Nan - Sending pixie dust that the little one arrives tomorrow!
Stephanie - Congrats on the new boss. It's nice to be able to go to work and not have it be a stressful time.
Reddy - I'm going to send a little arctic air your way. It was 7 outside again this morning.

My day is going to be a long one. Woke with a headache, so I don't know how long I will last. Need to check if the doctor's office called in prescription for my migraine meds. Woo Hoo! Script is called in and ready for pickup. Now to sneak out of work to get it.

Very sad today-my nephew and family have left for their new home. I am going to miss little niece4 and nephew6 so much. It was so hard to say goodbye last night and even though they are only going 6 hours away, it won't be the same to see them all the time as we do now....going to their events and such. Bummer.

Going to get a birthday gift for my mom.

Working on paper dolls swap.

Roast beef in the crock pot for dinner.

I woke up with a migraine too. Downed half an Imitrex, 2 Advil, and a huge cup of coffee. Right now, not much pain, but the nausea is bad. Working on another cup of coffee.

I'm at work. Boss is off to NYC for the weekend, so it will be an 'easy' day, but I still want to curl up in a corner and take a nap. I'm going to sneak out after the mail gets here and pick up a plastic lap desk for Sophie's birthday. DSis wants to give her a bunch of art supplies with it and I'll cut the vinyl to put her name on it.

Bought a rotisserie chicken for dinner, DH will have it ready when we get back from dance tonight.

Dh ended up coming back home.. in 30 minutes he got what would normally take us about 5 minutes if we hit every light in town!! He said that ppl we just driving crazy and sliding... he said they weren't even acting as if there was snow on the ground!!! ERRRR!!!!

So, DH rode w/ DS16 to school and I picked him up.. the roads by the MS were the worst... I slid a little but that parking lot is PITIFUL!!!! Anyway, DH said we need to take DS out and let him drive a little more in this stuff.. We will probably need to get him in an open parking lot and work with him with his stops and speed... I wish winter was over!!!

Those of you that have migraines, I hope you get rid of them soon!!!!

I soo understand how you feel! My baby brother and his family moved from AZ to here (FL) in Sep 2009 (job transfer). They rented a house down the street from us to be close by. My nephew was only 3 months old, my niece was 4. Well, they moved back to AZ in June of 2011 when nephew was 2 and niece was 6. We had shared Sunday family dinners together, holidays, Disney World experiences, days at the park/playground, etc. DH and I have no children so having them near was a blessing. I was incredibly sad when they left. But thanks to Skype, the phone and an annual trip to AZ, I'm still a part of their lives. You are lucky that they are a weekend trip drive away! Hang in there!

I actually had to draw a couple of more last night for that LO
they make me smile too
I feel they do a great job of letting people see how it will with the pic - I remember looking at LOs that others were trying to sell & they add cute curves in the middle of the photo spot - I kept wondering why when it would be covered.
then your mind would fill them in with your own family instead of mine - you can see your family in those spots right?? or is it the Castle?? Castle is what popped into my mind while I was in the shower or maybe food??

The nausea started last night and I should have known it was the beginning of a migraine. I'm always hopeful its not, but it seems I'm getting more and more of them. I took my imitrex for the pain and some alka-seltzer for the nausea. It's not working yet.

I didn't sleep well, woke up feeling "fine" and then had the aura before I got in the shower. Took the Imitrex right away and I seem to have caught it. My nausea arrives after the aura and then the pain usually comes after the nausea. Sorry you've got it too...

Mine starts with "butterflys" in my stomach which then turn to a stampede of elephants. I then get a tingly feeling right in the middle of my forehead, lights and by then I'm down for the count. I'm getting to the 2 hour mark, so I will soon take another imitrex if I'm not feeling relief soon.
