Tatiana & Thomas 01/24/2014 (MK Castle/Summer House/Epcot)

Eryn said:
It's more than I wanted to spend on the venue but I'm going in April to look at different venues and it's now an option! Plus since it includes chairs and transportation, that's not that bad really. The only problem is the expanding guest list that is looking more like 60 people instead of 35! So I'm thinking as of now it will be either at the WP or an epcot venue.

You know, I calculated price for ceremony in WP with all adds on: music, decor, guest transportation, and I was getting very similar number. And with 60 guests you can still fit in MK. They say 50 guests max but that does not include standing bridal party. Also if you look at the picture and count number of chairs you will get more than 50. We are expecting around 60 guests too and our planner said it would be fine.

However,I do like Epcot locations too. If I did lot set up my mind on castle, I would do Italy!:)

Right when things started to look good and promising, our coordinator decided to disappear.. I got a call from another coordinator saying that Bill will be out and that she will be helping me. So I went over my plan with her.. again.. My fiance is really getting angry with Disney. We are in contact with them since May, and they still don't have our information anywhere. Today I was promised to get answers to all my questions.. Let see... i still have no idea if we are booked for 01.24.2014 and if our requests for Summer House and Eau de France are approved.

However, there are some very good news. My dress (main) is here:cheer2: It looks absolutely gorgeous. I was tracking it down all evening, as I obviously missed delivery during business hours but luckily my neighbor picked it up fr me.
Here are the pics:

I decided to post pics of some dresses that I tried. There were quite a few but nearly each of them I loved :) so it was haaaaard to say "Yes to One dress"

But first my very recent purchase: flutes from Zgallerie - cheap and so "Ariel":

And here are the dresses:cool1:

1. The first time I tried the wedding dress was probably 3 months after Tom and I started dating. Not that I wanted to get married, but I absolutely loved this Reem Acra dress. So during my business trip to NY I went to Reem Acra and tired it on. As you may noticed, it is very similar to the dress I picked in the end:goodvibes

2. The second time I was trying dress was in Nordstrom - they had trunk show of my other favorite designer Rosa Clara (I still did not have a ring):
This one was my favourite:

Moms pick:
232323232-fp5385-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG389888458328nu0mrj_zps5f816ab5.jpg

This one I loved in catalog but not so much in person:

And this one crazy consultant asked me to try just for pictures (looks like birdy):
232323232-fp53858-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG389888882328nu0mrj_zps6939da44.jpg

I also tried my first Vera Wang! Not that I am obsessed with her dresses but I wanted at least to try it:

After this appointment I completely lost my fear and visited all wedding stores in Phoenix and few in LA:
Pretty but not me:
232323232-fp5384-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG3898895594328nu0mrj_zpsc9794ea7.jpg

I almost said yes to this Allure dress, but mom did not like it too much:
232323232-fp537-3-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG3898898657328nu0mrj_zpsd3c7fc87.jpg

No,satin....
232323232-fp537-7-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG3898894-93328nu0mrj_zpse4242dcf.jpg

Too plain:

At first I wanted this one as my second dress. It is so beachy...
232323232-fp537--nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG389889-86328nu0mrj_zpsf755a650.jpg

Very pretty but super heavy:

Another Reem Acra and... satin:

Too much ****s:)
232323232-fp5373-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG38988967-5328nu0mrj_zpsbffbe291.jpg

Loved this one, but Tom did not like the bow in front:
232323232-fp53873-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG38988--432328nu0mrj_zps9f3048bc.jpg

Too simple again:
232323232-fp537---nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG38988-7863328nu0mrj_zps52379607.jpg

Then I went to Wedding fair and almost bought this one. I still love the embroidery.. It is gorgeous dress, but I am not a fan of how it photographs:
232323232-fp53888-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG38988-677328nu0mrj_zps58bd1e0d.jpg

The last two stops were Kleinfeld, but they don't permit pics and Saks in NY. The last had nice, expensive dresses but surprisingly I was not crazy about any of them. Even Marchesa which I am huge fan was way too shapeless.
Cute Vera Wang. the back is awesome:

232323232-fp53842-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG39457-354328nu0mrj_zpse8895c52.jpg

Not puffy enough Kenneth Pool:

Amazing Oscar de la Renta. I think the fact, that the dress did not zip made me like it a lil less :)
232323232-fp53568-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG39457-357328nu0mrj_zps6dba964a.jpg

Marchesa.. Not flattering:
232323232-fp53564-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG39457-35-328nu0mrj_zps6c237ef7.jpg

Another Atelier Aimee.. My MOH wanted me to get this one:

Sorry for lots of pics. But I am sure for each one of you dress shopping is very memorable:thumbsup2!

Wow I love most of the dresses you tried on.
I hope I have even half of your luck :)

Oh my GOD, I'm obsessed with this post. I'm not getting married but this was like my very own episode of Say Yes to the Dress. I'm literally swooning over some of these dresses. I love your mom's Rosa Clara pic, because I love the layers and the super contemporary notch in the corset top (I'm also a costume designer so I have a special relationship with fancy clothes), but I can understand it wouldn't be for everyone.

I also really loved the feathers but I'm crazy!

You look SLAMMIN in that Vera Wang! Like it was made for you! And the BOTTOM! I'm fainting.

And the Reem Acra with the black embroidery!!! How did you NOT buy EVERYTHING???

And that one with the bow in front is glorious. You've got some AMAZING ones in your next post as well. They're honestly so amazing! I always think if I'm ever lucky enough to have to shop for a wedding gown it's going to be a nightmare, because I'm a performer so I already know how to wear corsets, hoops, crinolines and gowns from all different time periods, etc so I'm super picky about stuff like that. I'm excited for you!

Thank you so much! Well, I was not that good - I finished up with 4 dresses... I thought about selling two, but don't see point to do it before wedding. I am also a performer and obsessed with playing dress up..
Are you an actress? That must be so much fun...
I have an office job but also perform with .. Circus! Today I have an event where I will be walking on the big ball and do hula hooping) I almost made circus my wedding theme:cool1:

Four!!! Which ones besides the poufy one you showed? That would totally be me. I love playing dress up! Yes, I'm an actress, also an opera singer and teacher! I wear many hats, lol. It always keeps me busy though!

That's AMAZING that you're a circus performer-- I've always wanted to do Barnum with my students, but I don't know any circus performers to get them to come in and teach the skills they need! Too bad you don't live in NY! Lol.

This one I plan to wear at night for dessert party:

This is one for Ariel themed reception:

And the last one is just for MK bridal photoshoot:
232323232-fp53847-nu6767-569-237-WSNRCG39457-363328nu0mrj_zps7e44e3ca.jpg

I may start selling them once I run out of money)))

Omg I love your dresses, especially the ceremony dress and MK photoshoot dress! Wow!!!

So we kinda official! Changed the date to 01/31/2014 to get Summer house... Apparently, there is some kind of conference nearly each day in Grand Floridian...:furious:

Now patiently (or not so much) waiting for the agreement. I never been so eager to spend 2000....

Just catching up on your PJ. I love all your ideas! I can't wait to see more. I'm getting married one week after you! :)

Oh my goodness - so many beautiful dresses! No wonder you ended up with four, it would be so hard to choose!

Your Cinderella necklace is so lovely. And all the new princess details - your wedding is really going to come together into something spectacular!

Hope you get the agreement soon - or have you by chance got it yet? :goodvibes

Now we are really official!:cool1: At least $2000 are gone from my account.

We also booked out MK photoshoot for 02/02/14.. I requested Cassie, Amy or Rick (Toms choice) but I really-really hope and pray for Cassie.. I absolutely love her works..
I also submitted the order form for Engagement photoshoot. We already did one but I wanted to meet Cassie prior to wedding. So if we cant get Cassie, I will probably cancel it. It was hard to select where I want pictures.. I love poly, but we probably gonna get lots of wedding pics there.. So I picked Epcot for now. Surprisingly, Disney does not charge too much for this session.. Hopefully, we will do it!

Also, booked "Be our guest" for dinner during planning session.. I hope, reserving planning session is easier than this restaurant. I woke up at 5 am twice in a row to try to get dinner. Still the only option is 9.20 pm.. At least we will be very hungry!

Now patiently waiting for planner assignment..

Next Sat we are doing Save the Dates.. I am running late with it, but my first choice vendor refused to them due to copyright:confused3.. So I am getting back to my initial plan to do flipbooks. Will post once we get them)

Just wanted to share few cool thing I found for decor/attire. Mostly credit to Etsy ( best shopping place ever).

The colors are tiffany blue and light gold.. I am considering adding purple for flowers...

Ceremony (Cinderella Theme)

Invitations (Indian made - cheap and extremely magical)

Flower Girl dress (ordered in tiffany blue and gold - Juju's tutu @ Etsy)

Flower Girl Tiara (Etsy)

Gift to Flower Girl (Etsy)

Flower Girl Basket (Etsy)

Ring Bearer Outfit (Etsy, will be ordered in blue and white)

Bridesmaids dresses (Jill Jill Stuart)

I hope I wont be banned for posting too many random pictures :confused3

This is some nice stuff! Approved!
