MK Fireworks from Polynesian?

We arrive at the Polynesian on Sunday Feb 3. In addition to the Superbowl, it's my daughter's 6th birthday. The men of course want to watch at least some of the superbowl, so I'm wondering if the MK fireworks can be seen from the Polynesian???

Thanks!

Yes. From the Poly beach.

They pipe the music in too.

In that regard, I'd recommend watching at least once in the park and at least once on the beach. Very interesting getting the different perspectives.:goodvibes

I agree....but personally I think I lean towards the beach myself. :)

Super thanks for the tip. We are going to MK Thurs night for the parade, so we will catch them that night.

Another great thing about it (besides the terrific view, the music, and the relative spaciousness of the beach area vs. MK itself) is that you're not using a day on a park ticket just to watch Wishes.

Be sure to stick around after Wishes a bit. The Electric Water Pageant usually comes by a few minutes after Wishes. It will probably be too cold on Feb. 3, but if we're staying at the Poly we like to watch all this while also enjoying the pool, but then we're usually there in early October.

Thanks for the tip! Not sure if anyone knows, but do you suspect that the hotel will be broadcasting the Super Bowl on the big screens outside that night? I called hotel and they said they don't see anything posted yet but that they would be showing it in the lounge/bar areas.

Are there plenty of chairs on the beach or should you bring a blanket or something to sit on?

There are some chairs, and some people drag chairs from the pool area over to the beach area. But usually there are more people than chairs. I don't think I'd bring a blanket, though. Wishes doesn't take more than 10-15 minutes. Just not worth it, IMO.

We stayed there twice and were able to view the fireworks right off the beach. I believe there is a little walkway that goes further up into the lake sort of and you can sit there on the grass and watch. You can almost even hear the music from the show as well.

Don't forget to stick around after the fire works for the water pageant, they have floats that get pulled along with lights and different animals and things with music playing. Its pretty cool.

Thanks for the info.

I have never been to WDW at t tme dring the superbowl, but i have heard that it is one of the besttmes to go insde the park.

Right on and off most rides.

Becaue lots of people watchng the game somewhere.

Food for thought!

Thanks for the info. My SIL and BIL are staying at the GF, and it's already becoming a competition as to which hotel is better for viewing. My research suggest it's the Poly ;-)
