Yes, bitter cold here this week and snow in the forecast for Friday. Hope it doesn't impact our flight on Saturday. Unfortunately we will be stuck here in PA until we find jobs in Florida, so we will have to deal with the cold for the time being.

Hope you find jobs quickly!!! Now that you have a house and all, it's gotta be driving you crazy to stay in the cold.....

The floor is repaired, the new half wall, bench and niche in the shower is built, the shower liner is in, the re-plumbing is done...they are moving right along, and things look good! I'm really pleased!

We close on Tuesday and it will be so hard to come back north knowing we have a place down there where it is warm. But great things are worth waiting for.

Here is some good advice I was given too late when selling our last house. About a year before you decide to put the house on the market, find a good home inspector and do an inspection of your own so you will know what may come up. You can pick and choose what you may want to fix prior to selling and what you will leave and hope won't be an issue. There were some things we fixed that we probably didn't need to because they weren't big things that would cause an issue.

Good to know, will "try" and keep that in my memory bank..

We are getting snow here also between thursday nite and friday...they are talking tho only of 1.5 inches....hopefully that is all we will get..

I'd see my BIL too, but he's going to be working on the Fantasy (he's not crew, he's shoreside, but I can't tell you what he's doing on the ship).

I only know it has to do with technology, and that he's going on the Dream on Sunday. I don't know more than that.

The only way I know how to post pictures here is thru photobucket....if you have a photobucket account (its free) post pictures there, then you download from that site to here....
once your on photobucket its pretty easy to transfer them to here.


Another cold morning here, but at least its Thursday so much closer to the weekend.

Did anyone see the move J Edgar Hoove with Leonardo Dicaprio? I watched it last night on HBO.....very interesting man....

What's that???? I woke up this morning (OK maybe it was around noon) and there was snow on the deck. It was disappearing quickly but it surprised me. Glad I can stay inside where it's warm--may the heater never give out
