You know your kids have been to Disneyland a lot when...

they're sitting at the table doing homework, start singing "It's a Small World" (with all the correct lyrics), then immediately transition into "Jingle Bells". Think they've ridden on the holiday version? :santa:

they know their way around the park better than they know their way around their home town.

DD16 tells everyone the HM is hers, because she has the key. LOL She has it and wears it proudly on her lanyard all the time. :)

When they get measured by the doctor and ask "Am I 40 inches? Can I go on the big rides?"

When every time someone asks her when her birthday is, she replies, "it's when we go to Disneyland!"

You just wait. You haven't seen anything.Wait until you have to take them to the college program and leave them behind.I was ok until I saw a teenager on the SW plane with an Indy hat like my son used to wear. And they call you everyday and give you the Disneyland update. It was so weird and I felt so old, it brought back so many memories we have been going since he was born. You go on all these journeys with your child and one day they grow up and you leave them three states away.He was going to ride space mountain with a group of cms with the lights on.I hope your kids get to do it one day. its like living the dream..

When your 26 year old son shows up for dinner at your house wearing his Mickey Ears that he got at Disneyland when he was 9, then the next time he shows up wearing his Goofy that he got at Disneyland when he was 12, then when he shows up the next time wearing..... well you get the picture. :thumbsup2

:rotfl:

I have a new entry for the thread after flying with DD5 this weekend-- when the flight attendant walked down the aisle to see if everyone's seatbelts were buckled before takeoff, she automatically tugged on the strap of the seatbelt when the flight attendant looked down at her.

Your kids start pointing out Hidden Mickeys everywhere you go.

My kiddo points out Mickeys everywhere too :) Her Hanna Anderssen dress had three dots in a nearly perfect Mickey, and she would only refer to the dress as "my Mickey dress" thereafter.

Other ways we know she's been to Disneyland too much...

... "Mom! This pineapple tastes just like a Dole Whip!"
... "How far of a walk is it?" "As long as Main Street." "Oh, I can do that!"
... "Put on your Ariel shirt" or "Put on your Mickey shirt" is met with "The one from Disneyland?"
... A puffy cinnemon/sugar dessert is always a "churro" no matter what.
... She'll tell the CM when they forgot a joke on the Jungle Cruise, or ruin the punchline.

My 2 1/2 year old asks to watch the Disneyland travel special on Netflix and discusses all of the rides and when he will be tall enough to ride the big rides as well as which rides he does and does not want to ride on our next trip. He also breaks out in song and sings It's a Small World on a daily basis. Every morning he asks if we're going to Disneyland. Oh, and for his birthday, all he wants is "to go to Disneyland and go to the hotel and watch the fireworks!"

When they request their own Disney name tag.
