Thank you everyone for the info about the showers.:cheer2:

Now I have another question.
I love staying on Disney property but this trip is business (Princess Half Marathon) not pleasure. I want to request a quiet room on the top floor. We need to get plenty of sleep and don't want to be surrounded by noisy neighbors.
How can I make this request before we arrive. Should I call the resort directly?

I have just emailed them and had mine added. Requests were granted when we got there. It took about a week but they sent me a confirmation email when I did it.

I would like to email them, but I don't seem to have access to an email address. Did you email the resort directly?

My girlfrinds and I will be staying CSP next month for the Princess Half Marathon. There are 4 of us but only 2 are doing the race. Race particpants have to be at Epcot by 4:00 in the morning for the race. We dont want to wake up the other 2.

Are there bathrooms with showers in the pool area or workout room that we can use? Would we have access to them in the early morning hours?

I believe it is to the bus by 4am, right? So that may give you a bit of time. I know I for one plan to not catch that very last bus at 4am... but at least you know that you don't have to be at Epcot by 4am.

Thanks so much!!!

Well...I guess don't thank me so soon lol. I just received an email from them telling me they currently can not add requests via email so I guess I have to call. First time ever didn't work :(.

Morning,

Wondering if it is possible to walk to this from CSR? If so, how far away and is there an actual walkway to get there?

Thought it might be a fun idea to do this trip and we won't have a rent a car and if walkable , it would be quicker to do that than taking the bus, I figure.

Thanks!

Hello everyone, I've been reading this thread, and the ones before it (all the way back to 2010) for weeks now. I've learned so much and I have over three pages of notes. Thank you to all you pros out there who take the time to answer questions over and over again. I'm so excited to be staying at CSR in April. My wife and I stayed there 7 years ago and this will be my son's first time!

Thanks! I saw on the conference list that we'll be there the same time as the AAPC convention. Has anyone had any experience with this group? Their website says they'll have 2,000 attendees. Anyone know if that is a large group by CSR standards?

If you were able to book a room, you should be fine. The good thing about a conference that size is that your family will probably get a seat on the bus - at least in the morning anyway! :)

I've stayed many times during conferences (once even when my DH's company had a conference at CSR ;)) and have never had any issues. Like I said, if you were able to book a room, all should be fine! :thumbsup2

I will be part of this convention, and we are very polite, and have manners, as we work in the medical field. on the plus side of things the bus going to the parks will be free, Mon thru wed, the bus back may be a bit full, as we will hit the parks after 5 pm. I don't know if it is big by csr standards but we do tend to fill the convention centers in the past.....

I am staying two nights, Feb. 21 through 23 and see there are two overlapping events that time...one of which is the Fit to be a princess expo. Wondering how crazy and packed things will be then? Guess the women's half marathon is Feb. 24 and race material pick up is at CSR. Should I be worried?

They are the same event. The Fit to be A Princess is the expo for the half marathon

There is also World Therapy Conference Feb 20 through 23. Seems like a lot with the princess expo too.

Awesome thanks for the info. I will be there with a little one and I'm glad to know the conference won't be a rowdy one. We won't be out late at nights so hopefully we won't run in to bus problems.

Does CSR offer any rooms with dual vanity sinks? We were spoiled with these at POFQ last year.
