Favorite Be our guest lunch

Be Our Guest is awesome! Here is the video from my experience: http://youtu.be/b_79w_k_o-I

I had the steak sandwich with fries and a French Onion soup. It was all very tasty. In my opinion BOG is the best restaurant in the MK. Great food and atmosphere :)

I had French onion soup and braised pork today. Both AWESOME. Also had the lemon creampuff and it was fabulous! Two thumbs way up for me. :)

Out of our party of 6, two had the pork. It was definitely the best dish at our table and I would certainly get it again.

We ate there twice for lunch 2 weeks ago and LOVED it. The atmosphere is over the top and the food was , the very good. Our favorites were the braised pork, Croque Monsieur, lemon cream puff and my very favorite thing.....the chocolate cupcake. :goodvibes I had read weeks back that someone described them as horrible. I found them to be the best I can remember eating and would go back just for them!!!

Last week I had the steak sandwich which was good but not spectacular. BUT....the potato leek soup was excellent and the strawberry cream cheese cupcake was hands down the best cupcake I've ever eaten! My sweetie and I said that next time we go for lunch we're gonna order 3 bowls of soup and 6 of those cupcakes and that's it!

We are going the end of Feb.It looks like quick serve, are reservations a must?

I was there on Friday. DH had the braised pork, which he loved, but felt the portion was too small.

I had the turkey sandwich, which I loved, but felt the portion was too big.

We solved our problem by eating what we wanted and then DH finished what I didn't eat off of my plate!

I got the strawberry cream cheese cupcake (AMAZING!) and DH had the passion fruit cream puff. He liked it but said my cupcake was better.

We have ADRs for dinner in July. From the videos it looks very well organized . . . so much so that I though we might feel rushed in/out. What have people's experiences been?

I've only eaten lunch there once so far. I had the quiche and it was delicious. The chocolate cupcake I had for dessert was really good too. :)

We went once on our recent trip - Tuesday January 8th so a slower MK day

Got in line at 10:15 and were just over 1/2 way across the bridge. Restaurant opened right at 10:30 by 10:40 we were sitting down. Food arrived shortly thereafter and we were done eating and leaving just after 11

Dh had the braised pork and really liked it. DD and I split the turkey sandwich we were not "wow" - it's really just turkey, sauce and bread I like turkey but it was too heavy in that area - cheese would have been nice.

We also had the strawberry cheesecake cupcake and chocolate cream puff both were good.

Did not go back during our trip mainly because we didn't want to stand in line again.

I must be the only one on these boards who didn't really like the pork. It was ok, not horrible or anything. Now the potato leek soup, croque monsieur, and strawberry cupcakes are yummy!! Dh and I agreed that if we go again we'll get two soups, share the sandwich and for sure get a cupcake...although he likes the chocolate better. I was a tad disapppointed that the fries they serve with lunch are not the same as the ones they have at dinner. The dinner ones are fantastic!!

We ate there in Nov and everyone (party of 4) enjoyed their food. I had the quinoa salad which was good and a strawberry cupcake I loved. The desserts are so fun! The croque Monsieur also got good reviews. At first I was disappointed we couldn't get a dinner reservation, but I was really happy with the lunch and didn't feel like I was missing anything. Have a great time!!

The lunch items we have tried are:

The steak sandwich- good, I agree with the pp who said the fries were just regular park fries, not the real pomme frites they serve with dinner (which are delicious!)

Quinoa salad- surprisingly good!

Quiche and salad- eh, the quiche was lacking in flavor I thought and the salad it was served with was underdressed.

Braised pork- delicious! The best dish we had.

Potato leek soup- pretty good

We tried all 3 flavors of cupcakes and I personally liked the lemon the best. I think the tartness of the lemon cut the sweetness of the cupcake perfectly. Dd1loved the chocolate the best (mostly because she can never eat Disney baked goods due to allergies but these she could eat!) DD2 liked the strawberry the best. Lol, go figure...

I've only eaten lunch there once so far. I had the quiche and it was delicious. The chocolate cupcake I had for dessert was really good too. :)

Was going to ask about the quiche, my plan next week is to actually have that for my late breakfast there and:goodvibes then a late lunch (at the Plaza). (I just really want to try BOG). DD is not a breakfast person at all so I figure she can have her bag of mini muffins, I'll have my oatmeal before we head to the park and we'll get in line at 10 something.;) How is the quiche served (with anything on the side?)

Ok and after I wrote this post I see a not so good review on the quiche:( any other opinions?

Ate there this past Sunday. I had the braised pork and wife had the Croque Monsieur. Both were good but her sammich was especially tasty! The pomme frittes were cold though. I had the three chocolate cupcake (yum!!) and she had the lemon raspberry cream puff - too tart and didnt finish

How long have you had to wait in line for lunch? I have an ADR for dinner in March, but we're on the dining plan, and right now, I have too many TS booked. I'd rather switch to going there for lunch, but I'm nervous about having to wait in line forever. I don't want to waste valuable park time doing that!!! I definitely want to eat at BOG though, one way or the other.
