We are going to Disney on the 27th of Feb, we are getting the normal dining plan, (1 quick service, 1 snack, 1 sit down.)

We are going to downtown disney our first night since we wont be hitting the park, and we plan on eating at the rain forrest cafe. We are going to eat breakfast the morning of the 28th on site. Where is a good place for a sit down meal at magic kingdom? We have 3 boys ages 2/4/8. And we would like something that fits in with our dining plan,

Also we plan on hitting the 50's cafe on the 1st while inside of hollywood studios.

But we have no plans for anything else just yet, what are some super great places to take the boys

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch is very good. They have good salads and pasta and the pot roast is delicious! And they have ooey gooey toffee cake for dessert.

The Plaza is also very good sandwich-type food and the fries are very very good.

They are both sit-down, 1 TS meals. If you are looking for a good CS, Columbia Harbor House is a nice variation from burgers, etc. The tuna sandwich and the hummus vegetable sandwich are good.

How many nights will you be there?
I think a great breakfast TS meal would be Crystal Palace at MK. It is a character meal- Pooh, Tigger, etc.
Otherwise for 3 boys, a good choice for TS dinner would be Tony's.
I think you will love 50s! Such a fun atmosphere!

Oh that's coming up quick! S you have not booked any reservations?? I would a character meal for the boys if you can... In magic kingdom they have the crystal palace with pooh characters and we enjoyed it. I don't know for you will be able to get on there though, it books up months in advance. Are you planning to just walk up? If not i would book today, check everyday things open up.

We are trying liberty tree tavern lunch in mk after reading good reviews here. There are lots of good quick service places in mk, so you can always do that then leave and do a resort sit down dinner.

How many days are you staying, and where?

We are arriving the afternoon of the 27th, and staying until the morning of the 4th.

We plan on hitting the parks for thurs/fri/sat/sun. Staying at port orleans riverside

We aren't very interested in the character dining since my 2yo is scared to death of chuck e cheese, monkey joe and anything like that. He rarely will even walk up to them, so them trying to play while he eats just doesn't seem like a great idea to me.

We have booked our stay already,

Any other must eat places in any of the other parks? The Tavern and the plaza are our two choices for lunch/ early dinner in the mk. Is it possible to be a walk in there?

It might be tricky to get in as a walkup. I would go at the very beginning of service (11am) and see if there is availability.

For LTT, note that the lunch an dinner menus are very different. I much prefer lunch and the ability to order off the menu as opposed to the family style Thanksgiving-type food.
