Can you see EWP from 15th floor observation deck?

Where is the best spot to see EWP from @ The Contempory?

they've gotten smart...the primo areas at the bon temp- roof deck from Cali Cafe and the lounge at the BLT don't offer access. However- there is a viewing area on the 4th floor of the contempt- (by the door that has the walkway to BLY) that is open to the public. You can get a great view from here- then go back to your too, the monorail, TCC, or even walk/monorail/boat back to the MK to grab a late bus back to your resort (guessing that walking that time of night is likely your best option)

Can you see EWP from 15th floor observation deck?

You can kind of see the EWP from the 15th floor observation deck of the Contemporary, but only guests of California Grill are allowed to watch from there. I say "kind of" because while visible, you are so high up, it looks really tiny.

I read that you need a key card to get to BLT....
Can you please give me more information....

Also - When I made my ADR the CM confirmed that we could access the 15th floor as guests of Chef Mickey....She even put me on hold to confirm this....Did I get bad info from her???
If I did the 4th floor will work - If we can access it.

Our ADR is for 9:05 - Wishes @ 8PM - We may just go to the Poly and watch from the beach and then take the mono to the CR....for Chef Mickey

I think your best view of the EWP will be from a beach or dock. It is on the water, not up in the sky like the fireworks.

The 15th floor observation deck is only for people dining at Cali Grill. Access is via the second floor where the check in desk for CG is located. You can ask to go up and have a drink at the bar, then go out to the observation deck, but it often gets too crowded around fireworks time so they will limit the number of people they will allow up in the bar.

For Chef Mickey's there is an observation deck on the fourth floor that you can access.

As PPs said, from the 15th floor the EWP looks really small so it's not a very good view. It's definitely not worth the cost of a drink.

Yes the better view from the cat walks by Cali grill is the one nearer to the restrooms . The view is fine but not as close if I were on the dock

You can see it from the 5th floor walkway between the Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower. It's on the same floor as Chef Mickey's and the gift shops. We always enjoy stopping on the bridge and watching it as it goes by. Sometimes it can be a little windy up there, but its not that bad .

I second the folks who suggested watching from the dock or the beach. When I saw it from the 15th floor observation deck it seemed very small and the music also sounded as if from a distance. I had previously seen it from the veranda around Narcoossee's and enjoyed that view much more.
