Ladies, last night we found out that my dh's grandmother had passed away. I'm not sure what our plans will be for the next few days. My mil had not spoken to her mother in years. Her childhood wasn't a good one, and their relationship has been pretty much non-existant for a while now. I've never met the grandmother. She didn't attend my wedding and has never asked to see my kids. My dh says he doesn't want to attend the services, but will do whatever his mom wants to do.

I was hoping to finish up my pieces this weekend if paper order ever arrives. It was evidently stuck on a fedex truck in the middle of a winter storm. I'll do my best to get my remaining pieces knocked out, so I'll be ready to swap this out as soon as the last box gets here next wk. I'll keep you updated with our plans. If you are ready to mail, you might hold on to your box a day or two. If you have already mailed, I can ask one of my neighbors to check my porch if we are out of town all weekend. Thanks!

I'm sorry for your loss. I haven't mailed. Just let me know when I should send it out. Next Monday is a holiday, and next Tuesday I will be in Boston for most of the day (job interview!), so Wednesday would be my next opportunity unless I mail tomorrow.

Also thanks for all the ! My family appreciates it very much. It doesn't look like we will be gone all weekend. My in-laws just want to attend the services and head home. Jaci has an academic meet tomorrow morning, so I'll be off-line for several hours, but I'll check back in when it's over to see if any questions or problems have popped up.

I have a silly question for my american fiends. I was suppose to mail yesterday but due to bad weather we didn't travel to the US for our day trip therefor didn't mail my package. I've read it's a holiday tomorrow and the only day I can make it there ... figures. While looking at USPS website, I notice there's an Automated Postal Center .What's that? Am I able to bring my box there? If I was to use click and ship would it be an option? Ya I know it's a silly question but we don't have such thing here in Canada.

I love all the pieces, Cheryl. I have several sketches saved with banners, so I'm excited to get them!

Jaci's academic team needed to win one more game to qualify for state and they came up few points short. The same thing happened last weekend to Madison's team. Several parents aren't very happy with our coach. She just isn't doing enough to get the kids prepared. Hopefully some things will change next year.

I live in very rural Oklahoma. Our local po is about the sign of a postage stamp, so we don't have one here. I searched the usps website and found this
