2013 Solo traveling Princesses

Hey Colleen! Did you have a blast last weekend? The 5K was sooooo crowded and hot. Looking forward to the PHM, hopefully won't be so bad. BTW, I am originally from Woodbridge, living in Fla since 1991. Where in NJ are you?

The marathon was sooooo much fun. A bit hot, but we made sure we stayed hydrated and walked when we needed a break. Now want to do Goofy next year, and trying to figure out how I can afford to squeeze in the Dumbo Double Dare!

I'm in Point Pleasant. Love the shore!

No kidding! I used to go there all the time. Jenkinson's salt water pool wad the best!

I grew up in Monmouth county and spent the summer in Sea Bright. We moved to Point in 2000. Never saw the salt water pool. Where on the boardwalk was it?

The pool, from what I recall, was by the restaurant. I think it got demolished in the late 70's.

Princess Half is only a month away! For those who are traveling solo, would you like to have dinner together. So far I have ADRs for 2 on Thursday at 7:40 for Tepan Edo in Epcot, and Saturday at Via Napoli at 5:45. I'm still getting unpacked from the marathon so I can just repack it all for Princess. I can't wait to get back to the happiest place on Earth!

I still need a dinner for Friday night if a bunch of us want to get together.

Friday night will be my pasta night. I am torn between Tutto Gusto or the create your own pasta at either POR or AoA. For the first Princess in 2009 we met and had pasta at The POR foodcourt.

Saturday I will eat much lighter. I like to have grilled fish and rice which I can get over at the AoA foodcourt. Sunday I have a 7:20 ADR at Sanaa for 2 if anyone cares to join me.

lol, you probably wont be able to! I don't think I will. I see you live two hours away, are you staying at WDW that night or heading home? I would meet up for an early dinner or late lunch. I am going to the fireworks dessert party that night so I need to get back to MK. I was thinking of maybe going to Kona Cafe at the Poly.

I have an ADR for Be Our Guest on Sunday night. SOmeone PMd me a while ago so think they are still planning on joining me. If plans change I'll let you know. I had dinner there over marathon weekend and it was awesome! The food was great and the imaginears did an amazing job with the design. You get to meet "The Master", as the CMs call him, after you dine.

Hey everyone. So I am making an entire vacation out if this. So I will be down from the Wed before until the Saturday after. I only have a few definite plans so if anyone wants to meet up for some food or park time let me know.

I'd love to meet up with some fellow Princesses for some park time too. I get in late Wednesday night. So Thursday through Monday are good. I will probably have to be back to the hotel around 3:00 on Monday to catch the DME to go home Friday morning I'll be at the expo. I'm planning on getting there early so I can get to the parks. I need to just remeber to not buy EVERYTHING I see!

Just found this thread! I'm not traveling solo (my mom and I), but I am running solo for this race. My first completely solo race...little un-nerving, but I'm reading for a fun experience! My kids don't even know that I am going to Disney without them and I'm not sure I will tell them until I leave because they are going to be M-A-D!

Been meaning to post. Running and traveling solo. Get in Thursday around 1, check into POFQ, and will be headed straight to DHS that afternoon followed by MK for Friday and Saturday. I have to be back home before my Monday class so I am on the sometime in the late afternoon fligth on Sunday.

I am ADRing everything expect Breakfast on Friday (its one way to trick my brain into not overdoing it at the parks) but I would love to meet. My Saturday dinner ADR isn't until 8:05 (late I know (not my choice just took the first available) but I at least get to see Wishes from inside the castle if I time it right).

Hi again, all. I decided to leave Friday morning instead of Sat. Already have a standard, business class room at CSR for Sat-Mon. No availability for Fri in the same room category. Any suggestions? Thanks.
