Do Mickey waffles actually taste good?

in all the pictures i've seen the mickey waffles don't actually look super appetizing. i love waffles and pancakes and i really want them to be good, because i will probably eat them every morning for breakfast if they are. but i don't know, i just can't help but wonder when i see them....

what do you all think?!

I liked them, but I'm the kind of person that drowns her waffles in syrup and them more syrup so they could have been made of cardboard and still been delicious in the end

I agree. They are no different than any other waffle you would order out but they must put something in the batter than makes you want to have one every trip!

Huh...I think they are fantastic!?? I think it's all in the perspective though...I don't eat waffles normally. In fact, the last waffle I had was the last time I was in WDW and had a mickey waffle, so I guess with nothing to compare it to, it's pretty good!

Disney is where I eat things I normally don't on a regular day, so all the junky stuff tastes way better when you don't eat it the rest of the year...guess I'm easy to please!

I drown them in butter and syrup, and then they are yummmy.

I also think that some of this is perspective EVERYTHING tastes better in Disneyworld

Hmmm, I think they are the best waffles I've ever had. I live here and go several times a month, so no Disney blinders on for me. I'm not exactly a waffle expert and generally don't eat them that often. But I sure love those!

I also drown any waffles, Mickey or not, in syrup and I like them. Like anywhere I've had better Mickey waffles at certain places around Disney than others.

I agree with this. Not amazing and not bad, just average. I just make a point every trip to have at least one.

I think they're pretty darn tasty! The big Mickey Waffles are better than the kids sized Mickey Waffle though. I also use a bit of butter and lots of syrup! The ones I've always had there have been baked just right, not too crunchy and not too soft so it probably has to do with the person making them as well. I always look forward to a big waffle when we go down there

Absolutely yummy!!

If you like any other waffle that you would get at restaurants, you will like these. They taste exactly like any other (non - homemade).

As far as I know, all their waffles are made with the same batter/recipe.

They're just plain waffles that can often taste a little rubbery if they've been sitting a while. I never really understood why folks get so hyperactive over them on these boards..

I didn't like them, until we tried the ones at Ohana. For some reason, those were really good, but we've had them at other venues and didn't think that they were anything special, other than looking cute.

They are pretty good, well, now that I think about they are not all that good. I guess they are ok. Sorry, I just can't make up my mind.... Guess I am ....... Waffling!
