Hi I am new and I had a quick question.
We have been to Disney a few times and have stayed at all the values. We are heading back in April and hoping to book the AoA.

This may seem silly but I have a food question- looking at the menu for the caf I did not see all the kid friendly food like grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, French fries.. Etc

Also didn't see breakfast sandwiches like croissants?

Is the food in the AoA caf very diff from the other values where you could get anything??

Like I said silly question but with picky kids its a deal breaker!

Thank you to anyone who can help!!

I know they have pizza, burgers and fries. You can find the full menu on allears.net.

Okay I'm a newbie

What's this pin code all about?

PIN codes refers to special offers that are mailed or emailed to individuals and contain a unique number code. Only the person receiving the PIN can book with that number to receive the special offer. You can either call to book or visit a online page with your PIN -- usually (but not always) the PIN mailing will include a web address.

The offers that are mailed are similar to the ones that are generally available -- room discount, free dining, etc. -- but may be offered earlier than general offers or with different dates.

There's no sure way to get a PIN code mailed to you, but certainly a way to try and get one is to make sure you sign up with Disney to indicate you have an interest in visiting WDW -- order a planning DVD, create a user name on disneyworld.com, plan out a package online and then click to save an offer without booking are all common recommendations.

How quickly do you think the LM rooms fill up? I was playing around on the wdw site and a lot of dates at easter were filled. I don't want to make my reservation for August yet b/c I feel that it hurts my chances for a pin code. We're doing a split stay so even though I can't use it for AOA, it would be nice to have for CSR.

I would say faster than most. They are the only standard rooms at AoA. If being left out of most of the discounted room offers is any indication that LM is popular enough to not offer discounts then I would want to book as soon as I could. Booking or not booking does not always give you a better chance of a PIN. We gotten PINs having already booked. We booked LM during Spring break & of course this was the only section left out of the spring discounts. But this is where we want to stay so we booked it.

We are heading to AofA next month. We're booked for a Cars Suite. Any thoughts on what building we should request. I'll be traveling with a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old and we'll have a double stroller with us. TIA

Building 1 and 3 are closer the the main building than #2. Building 3 will have lake views. If it were me I'd pick building 1, as I like building 1 on the Pop side for its location on that property. With a stroller I also like to request a ground floor room, as you can avoid negotiating an elevator.

We requested building one, pool view. Got our requests and were in 1531 on the ground floor.perfect location as we didn't have to deal with getting on and off the elevator with a stroller and we honestly didn't gear noise from the pool, entrance or elevator at night. Sometimes when back for naps we could hear the music but it wasn't an issue since our two year old was so tuckered out. Hope that helps!

I know it has been answered many times here and I scanned to see if there were any pics of people laying in the beds...Is the pull out table bed a full or queen and is it really comfy? and same questions for the couch?

Do they still have metal flatware in the food court or did they switch to plasticware?

In Dec they still had metal silverware. Maybe someone who's visited this month can comment on that.

I was there about a week and a half ago and they still had it. :)

For those who visited recently, are the pools warm enough to use if you aren't from Canada (or the states close to it)?

They are both double beds, and they are quite comfortable. The pullout sofa doesn't have that awful bar in the middle to hurt your back. The table bed feels like a normal double bed.

Lol, we Canadians like it when we get the pools to ourselves!

We've been there in December and found it really chilly. We were just there at the end of October and found it really warm. I imagine January would be really chilly.

Are any of the pools heated? And if so, to what temp?

Janet

We were there last week and it was warm enough to swim (80 ish) every day until Thursday and then Friday it was pretty windy and chilly. The say all the pools are heated but when we have swum in lower temps (60s), the water still feels cold!

I can confirm the sink is outside the bathroom. It is in an area that has a privacy curtain that can be pulled, but it is NOT in the same room as the toilet and tub.

We were in building 8 in November. Liked the rooms, but they are on the small side.

Thank you both!
