Chef Mickey/MNSSHP Party Night.

Hi everyone!

We are working out our trip plans and it looks as though on our first day in the parks, there will be a Halloween party that night. We won't be buying a party ticket, as we are going to two already and I just don't think we would survive until midnight.

We were thinking about hanging at MK and then head across to Chef Mickey for dinner and then watch HalloWishes from the observation deck. We won't get to MK until about 2pm so we want to maximise the amount of time we can have in the park.

What time would you recommend making a reservation for Chef Mickey, if we want to be able to head for the observation area when we are done and watch HalloWishes. :confused3 If we have to miss 1-2 of the characters, it won't be too bad because I'm sure we will do Chef Mickey again for breakfast later in the trip. We will just walk to the Contemporary, we won't waste time with the monorail.

Thanks!

Even though MK starts handing out wristbands at 4, the MNSSHP officially starts at 7 They really start shuffling people out around 6 -6:30. Hallowishes begins at 9:30. If you arrive at the park at 2, you could start heading out around 6:30, be at Chef Mickey's by 7. That gives you two hours to eat (probably more than enough time), head to the observation deck to get a spot by 9 and watch the fireworks at 9:30. I think the character rotation takes one hour so you would not be missing any of the "gang."

:thumbsup2 That's what we were thinking. 4 hours would be enough for us, we don't really care if we don't do many of rides, aside from POTC. We'll let Mickey personally know that we've arrived, catch the parade and snack on some funnel cake. Anything else is a bonus. We'll be returning to MK two days later to properly tour the park. We've never done CM for dinner, only breakfast.
