What are the chances of this, our state Cash 5 lottery was up to $760,000 for today, I played 3 tickets, I won 3 numbers on 2 tickets (won a total of $24) if one number or the other would have been on the other ticket I would have had $619:scared1:, no one won the Jackpot it is now 1.1 million, so I'm going to play those 3 tickets again and take the other $21 and roll it into 21 more shots for tomorrow:confused3

It was a nice few days away from home. And I loved being "outside" without actually having to go out in that crappy weather. Nice place and I'm glad we got the opportunity to stay there. I don't see myself paying for a stay there though. A little over my budget and truthfully, I prefer to stay downtown in Nashville anyway.

Again, I have never personally stayed there, it seems silly when u live 10-20 min away, I have stayed at the union station hotel and the Sheraton (parties I threw when I was a lot younger an dumber) and they were both really nice.

Happy Birthday to Norms DD!!!!

Happy birthday to Norm's DD.

That was my workout then the wife sent that email.

January 2015. That enough warning?

Thanks. That may be enough for most to get back into shape, but I am at a whole other level of out of shape.

Wasn't meaning, to buy a HHI contract, ment I like that we can stay there for a week for 80pts

Misread that. If you time the point chart right, you can get Friday/Saturday at the end of March weekend points, which is about the same as the April weekday points.

Happy Birthday to Norms DD!

Thanks

Abandon ship! The Boardwalk is going down!

Down the hall from my room a large leak is coming out of the ceiling. They started working on it this morning. About 6 guys are there including a welder with an acetylene torch. Still no success. Kind of fun to watch though. Waiting for them to hand out life preservers.

Hit Beaches and Cream for lunch and for the first time I was disappointed with the cheeseburger. The bacon was like leather. Stopped by ESPN and the bartender took real good care of me with a Vodka and tonic. Feeling no pain right now.

Still have to do laundry and pack. May go to Dueling Pianos tonight.

Don't hurt yourself. Sorry your cheeseburger wasn't good. Life it tough, huh?:rotfl2::rotfl2:

My oldest turned 11 today. She had her crab dinner at Red Lobster on Saturday since I was going to be out of town. But, I saved a special birthday present for her - the bracelet - and she opened it today on her birthday while I watched on Tango. Of course, it is UK Blue/White.

Thanks David, and please tell Kim thank you as well. She was so happy when she opened it.

Happy Birthday to DD!

So you are trying to convince Paul to run next to the person with the shiv? I don't think he is that dumb. :lmao::lmao:

That's a good point, who wants to run 13.1 miles next to a shiv-wielding runner with the nickname "Crash"??? :confused3:confused3:confused3

Would you rather run on the team with the shiv or run against it?

You're the one who just spent the last 3 months putting the fear of Crash shiving me at mile 22 into my head!

Putting his daughter's shiv tendencies aside, I still aspire to be CJ. :thumbsup2

Rough work day, I basicly had to cut 20-30 beers off my portfolio, thanks to head office and their beverly policies....not making my job easier, that is for sure...

Nice bonus! Hope to be able to meet up if our dates cross. I wish I could get 5 bonus days. I have so much time banked, I'm not sure anyone would notice. I get 5 weeks a year and am only supposed to carry over 4 weeks max. Every time I tell them I need to take time so I don't lose it, they say no and approve the carry over. I never take 5 weeks a year, just not possible. Have 7 weeks banked and get another 5 this year (2 days a month) added. Now if I can just find a time where I don't need to be in the office.

Our dayes should cross, I am holding fast to the 19-30 August, something like that...

We love Halloween as well, but agreed years ago when we started that we wouldn't pull them once DS hit 7th grade. Figure August is a decent time to go and they'll get to unload some stress before starting up.
Yeah, we should get home a day or two before school starts...

Happy Birthday (belated now) to DD!!

Morning guys. I saw on Cinema Blend yesterday that a writer has been hired for POTC 5. Johnny Depp is on board as well.

Morning David!!

First time back on in a few weeks. Been really swamped here at work, normal workdays were from 5:30AM to 4:30-6PM depending. Good news is that it will help pay for the upcoming WDW trip in June.:cool1:

I'm not allowed to stay at places that close to a Bass Pro Shops without a chaperone:rotfl2:

Matt....are you guys feeling "the Crunch"? You know...40% more work with 30% less resources?

@Fed, You know it!

My travel was reduced to <5% of what it used to be, and to make up for it I still have the one man year of effort that was given to me when my co-worker was let go. So I'm handling 2 man years of effort, and we have to create several Tech Manuals in the next few months. We recently picked up 2 new hires to work on a separate program, and I ended up donating 20 hrs to get his troubleshooting flowcharts where they should be.

I've been asking for another body to act as a SME, subject matter expert, but I get told I dont work enough OT to justify. So, I have been working alot of (justified) OT, managing my projects and staying ahead of the game. Then I get fussed at for burning thru OT....

I just dont get it.

Matt

thats a great picture!!! just wondering what kind of music do you listen when your running???
randall i would have this on!!

I was listening to hiphop... there was nothing like running through the castle when Cypress Hill was on. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Awesome pic... very well done both of you!
Thank you!!!

Can I also suggest a new thread on the main screen...

DISDad's Locker Room - The place for Sport's Talk

I find during the playoffs especially... what may look like post padding, is really celebrating or friendly ribbing. But man do the pages add up quickly.
Wasn't that the reason we got our own sub-board in the first place? :confused3

That's what I was thinking...

I don't think I'm going to torture myself with the full next year. I really want to be able to run the entire 1/2 with a 2:15 time. DW doesn't think going down again is a good idea but maybe if people are sharing rooms again I'll jump on that.

That stinks... hopefully you cut Bud Light, Old Milwaukee, PBR, etc....

Hey Guys,
Sorry I missed the DDCC. I promise to be at the next one! I can't wait to meet my fellow DDC members!~
