Hi,
Since the 2013 dates have been announced will you be there and what are your dates? This will our first trip since 2005 to the Food and Wine Festival. We will be there the week of Halloween. We are booked at VWL but hoping to switch to BCV or BWV if we can get the reservation.
So has a lot changed since then, we every excited to attend and looking forward to spending our evenings there except on Weekends and I have heard not so good things about so we will not be attending Friday or Saturday.
Any not to miss foods or wines that you would suggest.
Please feel free to post your dates, questions or anything else Food and Wine related.

Hope to see y'all there.

We'll be at the BoardWalk from Oct 10 through the 18th. Don't miss the Fisherman's Pie (Lobster) at Ireland, near the Rose&Crown. One of those and a Guiness is a meal, we have ours in the R&C garden patio. The Meatball with Savingnon Blanc in New Zealand was quite good also.Do avoid WS on Fri night and Sat but FW is manageable then. Have the concert acts been announced yet?

My husband and I are going right at the beginning 9/27 to 10/2. We are going to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. No kid!!! Yay! We are going to stay at CR garden view. I wanted somewhere away from the hustle and bustle but Epcot accessible and something we could afford. I've always wanted to do the F&W on an adults only trip. Can't wait!

I am staying at the YC from the 1st Nov until the 15th of Nov, likely we will head to F&W for the last few days of it :cool1:

We will be there Nov 1-10th, really looking forward to it already. We went last year and loved the seminars etc. and plan to do many more this year.

We'll be first time attendees sometime during our stay on Sept 30- Oct 5! So excited!!!

This will be our 4th F & W Fest. We are going Oct.18th-Oct.27th and we're booked at the BCVs. We really want to do one of the special events this year, like the Sweet Sunday. I know there is typically a brunch most Sundays does anyone remember what nights are typically the Party for the Senses or the Chocolate dessert/Illuminations Party (can't remember that name) It seems that we always have our dining booked and don't want to give the good ressies when the party info comes out 3 months later. I would like to try and plan better this year.:)

We are going to be there Sept 30th - Oct 4th. This will be our first time going and I am really looking forward to it. Thanks for sharing some of the places to check out. I can't wait!

We will be staying GF Suglarloaf from October 5th through the 12th. It will be our first time attending the food and wine festival and we can't wait.:banana::banana:

We will be there Oct 5th - 12th. It will be our first time for F&W. I dream of someday going without the kids, but this year they will be with us.

Our return has been booked before we ever left in 2012. :woohoo:

We are at the Dolphin from 9/27/13-10/5/13! Looking forward to it as always.

I booked a villa at SSR at my 11 month window and hope to jump over to BCV for 2 nights 11/7-11/9 following our DCL cruise. We plan to do 1 day at Epcot to experience the F&W festival. I believe its the end of the festival so does anyone know how crowded it will be. We will go an a Thursday night. I cant even say if BC will be available. :scratchin

There will be a comprehensive info thread on the Restaurant board...but it won't start until at least May.

Weekend evenings (Fridays and Saturdays), no matter when they are, will be what is usually referred to as "crazy crowded." Sundays may be a bit better. If you want to attend the festival without crowds on a weekend, get there when WS opens. Can't stress that enough. You'll have at least an hour before it starts getting crazy.

Weekdays are not as crowded but they haven't been dead either like they were in the past.

3D Dessert Party is generally Fridays. Party for the Senses is Saturdays. There was no PFTS the last weekend because of the half marathon. There wasn't one the first weekend, either.

We will be in Disney from 11/7 to 11/13, staying at AoA. I plan on spending one day at F&W, but I'm not sure which day. I am at the tail end and I want to avoid Fri/Sat, so that doesn't leave many choices. I could go 11/10, but that is the final day, so i am worried that it will be crowded. My other option is Thursday, 11/7. But that is our arrival day, so I'm not sure it will work either. What to do??

DH and myself will be there October 11 - October 21. We will be staying AKV - Kidani Village, our home away from home! :cool1:

We will be there September 29 until October 4!! Staying at the Beach Club!! Our first stay at BC!! We booked a bounceback last week! So excited for this!:dance3:
