What is everyone's thoughts on Fulton's Crab House

We've been. Not rushing to go back but will hit it again sometime. Service for us was fine but we were there at a relatively slow time. Food quality was acceptable. Prices are typical Disney.

Yeah, I know...faint praise.

I actually think that it is one of the better options for seafood at WDW. Pretty wide selection, crab legs, lobster. It is a bit pricey. Good atmosphere. I've never had a problem with service.

We reluctantly visited the first week of December (after staying away for 10+ years) & we shocked how much we actually enjoyed our meals.

It was DS15's restaurant choice. He & I are both crazy for shellfish. DH not so much but enjoys a crabcakes & a few flat fishes. Entrees were Lobster Narragansett, Crab & Lobster & Crab cakes and everyone really enjoyed their selection. Service was very good - Jesse got marks for being above average which I think definitely contributes to the overall impression/enjoyment of the meal. Even my uber-picky DH said he would definitely go back.

Guess the moral of the story is... you have to see for yourself.

We had a good meal there, we used our 10% DVC discount and it still broke the bank! :)

Here are few examples of prices...

Fulton's Filet Mignon - $45.00
Jiko's Oak Grilled Filet Mignon - $44.00
Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - $43.00
Lunch LeCellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - $27.99
Brown Derby - Charred Filet of Beef - $42.00

For those prices I will take that lunch at LeCellier - it was delicious - but not as peaceful as Fulton's. But overall, I would take Jiko's 10/10 times over Fultons. For service, ambience, and food.

NOTE: Fulton's, as several other DTD eateries, like Portobello
and Wolfgang Puck, is part of the Levy chain. Most seafood is quite
good, but many think overpriced. The crab claws are good, but
pass the lobster or crab legs, as there is major disappointment lurking.
One would expect far better service considering the price. However,
the "riverboat" is a nice environment, but the staff does not keep the
place clean enough for our taste. Be prepared to give CPR to your
wallet when the bill comes, and try not to gasp too loudly. If we stop
for lunch we use it as a QS-type meal. I usually do an appetizer (shrimp
cocktail) and soup (either Lobster Bisque or Clam Chowder) with a few
libations. It makes a good/filling lunch and doesn't injure the wallet or cripple
the budget. We normally do not do the sandwiches or specialties, as the
pricing is too steep, so we cannot vouch for them

Pre DDP it was excellent. Post DDP its ok. Dw and I will still go there but its not the same since it went on the DDP imo.

Agree on the speed part, they are very laid back!

We have eaten there numerous times over the years and it is one of our favorites. We usually get the Alaskan king crab claws or legs, and lobster Mac and Cheese is amazing. It is the price of the signature dining restaurants at WDW.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Excellent but gosh it was so expensive.

Also I do not understand why people bring rude hyper children to a place this expensive.

I was lucky enough to snag a very last minute Christmas Eve dinner at Fulton's. We had a FABULOUS meal!! The service was top notch and the food was delicious. Yes, it was very expensive, but it was Christmas Eve! We enjoyed it so much that we've decided it will be our Christmas Eve tradition. One of us had crab legs, one king crab, one stuffed lobster, and one had the crab cakes.

We tried Fultons for the 1st time last month. Loved it! Definitely on our must do list for out next trip.

We tried to eat there for lunch last week and it smelled terrible in there. Like someone left the seafood out for a week straight. My husband loves seafood and even he couldn't stand the smell. We did not stay to eat. Menu looked delicious though!
