Arriving early questions!!

We'll be arriving at DLP around 8.30am, have been told we can collect our tickets but will be too early to check in.

Are we ok to park at the hotel (santa fe) despite not being checked in?

Can we get our breakfast slots when we arrive (before checking in?)

Can DH go back to the hotel in the afternoon to check in and have a nap (he'll be driving the whole way - overnight!) but the booking is in my name?

Thanks in advance

yes to everything :).

Basically, when you check in in the morning, you do everything that you would normally do at check-in (so get your park tickets, sort out your breakfast slots, park the car, store your luggage etc etc etc). The only thing you might not get is your room key, that may not be available until after 3pm. As long as your husband takes your booking confirmation details from you and shows it to the reception in the afternoon, he should be able to get the room key no problem (I certainly don't remember having to sign anything or show any ID when we collected our room key in the evening, having checked in at the Santa Fe in the morning).

They give you your room key when you check in now (at least at the Santa Fe), it activates at 3pm

Sorry hijacking post again! You mentioned breakfast slots - do you have to book slots for all breakfastS? I was just planning
On going when we woke up?

As mentioned you do get slots but can turn up any time really. It does tend to get busy after 7.30 and we had difficulty finding a table

Phew so we won't get turned away if we book 7 but sleep in until 8!

if you sleep in until 8, I wouldn't bother going for breakfast at all at your hotel - you'll queue for ages and if you're at the Santa Fe or Cheyenne you don't get seated by a waiter either, so as well as queueing to get in the restaurant, you'll have to search for your own table among the throng of people already there.

If I'm at the Santa Fe or Cheyenne, even in low season, and with only 2 of us in our party, I'll go at 7.30am latest for breakfast at the hotel, or I just won't bother, its not a relaxing way to start your Disney day ;).
