How old are your pets?

We lost two kitties last year...Tiger was 18 and Ralph was at least 15. :(

The three remaining kitties we have are:

Kippie.....16 yrs old

Pudgie and Blondie (from the same litter) will be 8 the beginning of March.

My kitties passed away at 16 and 19 1/2. When you make it to 19, every "half" counts. :cat:

We got two more cats (Siberian due to my allergies) and they are half siblings. One is two and the other is 5 months. They keep us hopping, but the kitten is a hot mess. :rotfl2:

We lost our 8 1/2 yo St. Bernard back in August.

Now we have 3 cats - Squeak is 15 1/2 and starting to show it.

Nukat is 8.

Newly adopted Tigger is 8.

Willow the cat is about 5 or 6.
Tiberious the cat is 3.
And Malcolm the cat is 2.

They are all still young and stay indoors so we're hoping to have them around a long time.

Our ACD, Tali, is about 1.5 years.

Our pitbull is going to be 9 years old. And old 9. He's not aging very well :sad1:

Scout the cat is 9
Sipsey the dog is 11
Daisy the dog is 9
White Kitty (the cat) is 3

Am a little concerned about the upcoming years with all these geriatric pets.

Our brother kitties, Bert and Ernie, are 11 years old. But Ernie is very sick (chylothorax), and is most likely not going to make it. He's just not bad enough yet to put to sleep. He's home, and I've just been staying home being nurse and spending time with him.

We don't have kids; just our two kitties. I love them so much, and I'm absolutely devastated . I will never get more pets. It's just too sad to go through this. I knew from the beginning that it would happen, but I figured they'd live to be much older. The cats I had growing up lived to be 18+.

 So sorry that you lost your dog and to others that have lost a pet. I think 2012 was a really bad year for losing pets!!:(

Current cat is 11.

Previous 2 cats were 16 and 17 when they passed on.

Cat before we had to put down at age 2, feline leukemia, passed away the year they came out with a vaccine for it.

"Mickey", our shih-tzu dog, is almost 2 years old.
"Bella", our cat, is about 3 years old.

:goodvibes

Cat turned 6 this Oct and has health issues. She had a clot and still is not walking right- but she is walking again!

Kitten will be 2 on Feb 3.

I need to start saving now so I can get another Savannah when the cat passes. I looked at some breeders websites recently and they want twice what we paid for our kitten. It will hopefully be several years... Unless we buy a bigger house. Then I think I can talk dh into another!

Blue the Kittygirl is four.

The 24 fish in the tank range from two years to 16 hours. One gave birth last night!

We have 2 dogs. Oz is a bull mastiff and is 7 and getting old for his breed. Sheba is a pekingese and is around 16. We found her at the pound the day before she was to be put down. She was old when we got her. Vet guesses around 12. My best guess is that someone passed away and none of the family members wanted the dog. When we brought her home she knew exactly what a French fry was. LOL

Not sure what we will do when we lose the dogs. I know DH wants another one. Told him he could have an Irish wolf hound but I am not sure how well one would do in Florida. Will probably get something smaller to play with DD. She is 3 and constantly asks for a puppy. Our dogs are old so they don't play anymore.

We have 2 dogs. One is 12, the other one is around 7, I think. Both were adopted as adults so no one is totally clear on an exact age. We use their adoption dates as their bdays.

We expect that the kids will be gone around the same time as the pets so it will be a truly empty nest. Not sure how that will feel!

Maggie is a sheltie/collie mix (but way more collie) and she just turned 16 in December. We know that every month we have with her is a extra (but then again we have been saying that for about 2 years!) She has some trouble with her back legs and some trouble seeing...and selective hearing...but she sure loves to eat!! :rotfl2:
