Trying to decide if booking a poolview regular room or value studio would be better.
Has anyone stayed in both?
Are they similar in size?
I have a 35% pin code that I can use for either.
It would be DH myself and DD 4 and DS 2

I am doing the same an would like to know as well!! I am so excited to stay here. It is the end of our trip, 2 nights, we are doing ak the day we check in, coming back for dinner at boma, the all day Saturday at the resort hanging out, dinner jiko, next day breakfast at boma and play until we have to leave for the airport. Doesn't seem like much time at all when I write it here . We will be at wdw 10 days, looking forward to relaxing and playing at akv!!! Anything we shouldn't miss? We have dd6 and ds3.

We have a fantastic room on the Kudu Trail overlooking the Sunset Savanna. Saw a dozen different animals including the four giraffes. Sooooo Cool!! Now we are enjoying drinks in the bar and looking forward to Jiko tomorrow! Thanks again for all the wonderful advice; we requested and received a 4th floor room!

Just booked AKL Savannah view for my birthday in May!!! Had a pin code and saved 1000$ (compared to the 200$ only from the general discount!)

I'm so excited!!!

We have one built in relax-day (the day after my birthday, since we're going to MK all day and will be exhausted!!), and I can't wait to explore everything!

I just realized I'll be there in twenty days. We're renting DVC points and staying in a one-bedroom at Kidani Village. We've only stayed Jambo House before. The kids love the pool at Kidani, so they're very excited. The only other question my oldest had was whether she could still get zebra domes. I told her no worries. We all want zebra domes. If I have to walk to Jambo House for them, I will.

I just did online checkin!!! YAY!! I am so excited! I put in for Kudo Trail thanks to Itinkso! My ds3 is crazy for giraffes! I didn't see anywhere to note a floor. Are Deluxe Studios only on certain floors? Why are they deluxe? Are they different from regular studios?

Hi!

We are DVC and our home resort is OKW. We are planning on a stay in Jan 2014. There will be 4 of us, DH, me, DD4 & DD2 (the ages at time of travel) We are considering a 7 night stay and going for a Savannah view over an 8 day standard view. Any suggestions (I know I'm like 4 months from our booking window but need to figure out points bc we are doing an Oct trip as well)

We stayed one night in a 1 bed Value in Dec for one night and LOVED the Jambo house, we had a parking lot view so that wasn't too exciting but we didn't expect much bc of the "value" We also dined at Sanaa for lunch but didn't have time to explore Kidani much.

Two things that are of no importance, 2nd bathroom (as long as the setup is the same as the 1 bed value with detached bathroom) and proximity to CS. We are also don't mind walking and toting things around.

Just looking for some good info so I may utilize my points best and of course have fun! We usually stay at OKW and are looking to do some exploring. Thanks in advance!

From what I understand the value studio will be about the same size but will have a kitchenette.

Hi! I'm at AKL now and I do know that it's true that you can't have balloons at the resort. There are signs all over the bus area alerting you to that fact. Also, I haven't noticed any palmetto bugs in my room and I have been staying on the 3rd floor if that helps. I'm also facing the savannah and that didn't increase any bugginess. I don't know about the juice boxes, but hopefully someone else will be able to help you out with that question.
