Where can you buy DCL Robes?

I've found DCL terrycloth robes and knit fabric/waffleweave robes, but is it possible to buy the very soft, high quality DCL robes that are found in the Concierge staterooms?

Do you know anyone staying in a concierge room? You could ask them to take them from the room. Disney will charge for missing items, but obviously some can't be bought through the normal channels

The gift shops on the ships sell robes, but they are not as nice as the ones in the concierge suites. I haven't seen those sold anywhere.

We purchased the romance package on our cruise in 2008; and two DCL robes were part of the package. It's a waffle weave robe tho. We wore them to the pool and to the spa and the CMs in the spa asked where did we get them, because they had the DCL logo embroidered on them. LOVE mine.

I wanted the shower curtain from AKV for DDs bathroom and asked numerous CMs where to buy and finally got the answer that they weren't sold to th general public. DDs friend suggested taking it and said "They'll charge you so it's not like you're stealing". Although I was tempted, I didn't want anything like that attached to my name. Or to send the message to my kids that taking something that wasn't mine was ok.

By the way, these robes sound similar in plushness to the robes in the rooms at Aulani (in the DVC room I stayed in). I almost bought one. They were $180. I've worn 3 different DCL robes and none were even close in comfort. I've never stayed in a concierge room though.

We have 6 of the waffleweave....I hate them but my DS and DH like them. We have two of the regular terrycloth? ones, they are ok. I love the ones in concierge on DCL....maybe we will buy them this trip lol!! 1 more day!

Yes, they were the same and yes we got them from our hostess

We were on the Dream in fall 2011 and the robe I bought in the gift shop was the same robe they had in the concierge room. Double layer with a soft terrycloth like inside and a smooth outer. Super comfy and saw more then one woman wandering into the concierge lounge while wearing one.

I love mine and use it daily. Has held up really well. At one point I figured I might grab another on the Fantasy this spring but mine is still in perfect shape so no need. $180 sounds really high though. I thought it was closer to $120. I remember getting home and seeing a very similar robe for about the same amount of money online. Sans DCL logo.

It looks like the robe that we had on the Wonder, but I can't say for sure.

this is my first time on this board i just booked my first disney cruise and was
reading all the post and found this very interesting, what is the romance package and what does it contain and how do you get it. Is it a special room
or just gifts im currious to find out please do tell.
