Anyone do the bridal sessions? How was it? How was your Escape wedding?

Did anyone do the bridal portrait sessions? We are thinking of doing that after the ceremony another day or so. Interested if anyone has any opinions or pictures you can share of your escape wedding...six months and counting !

Just want to say we booked Reverend Kevin Knox and he seems very pleasant through all our email correspondence. Also booked Jackie from Beaute Special for myself and again they seem very helpful through all our email correspondence.

We are using Rev. Jack Day as our officiant and my fiancé booked Lejune ( I think that is how it's spelled) for hair and makeup. We are going to WDW in May for our planning session and for a trial run for hair and makeup.

We had Beaute Speciale for our hair and make up and they were phenomenal.
Got everyones hair and make up just like they wanted with out having to do a trial run. Prices were very reasonable and they came to Disney hotels with no travel fee.

We had Rev. Tim as our officiant. I liked him and we didn't have anything specific that we wanted for our ceremony just something short and sweet and he provided that to us. Now not that my husband didn't like Rev. Tim but he didn't really care for him either. He did speak with my husband and groomsmen more than with me so maybe his interactions weren't that great but I thought he was very nice and he knew what he was doing.

I used Beaute for my hair and makeup and thought they were great! I don't know who came though, I forgot her name, and feel horrible! We used Rev Kevin Knox because he was recommended by our planner. His price was the same as everyone and we liked him. He was nice, did exactly what we wanted, and have no complaints.

I used Beaute Speciale and thought it was just okay. I had Jenny. I didn't do a trial and she came at 4 a.m. (they charge $50 to come before 6 a.m., FYI). It was dark and the lighting in Disney resorts isn't the greatest, so my face ended up being much darker than my neck/chest when we were in daylight. Plus, I paid for airbrush makeup and she used an airbrush "brush" with airbrush makeup, not an actual airbrush machine/pen. She was friendly enough and my hair was pretty (but my curls were falling out by the time the ceremony started). I was expecting to be blown away when I looked at myself in the mirror, but I just thought I looked good enough. I would have looked better if I had done my own makeup (and I am not a makeup expert, by any means).

I booked Rev. Kevin Knox. He got the job done, showed up on time, and gave us a $50 discount for getting married on a Monday in December. Plus, and this is particularly shallow, he looks great in the pictures!

I used Beaute Speciale for hair and makeup for me, my mom, my sister and my niece. Jackie and Isa worked with us. They were fantastic! I had inspiration pics for my hair that they followed. Everyone else let Jackie and Isa do what they wanted. We all had the airbrush makeup, and none of us was picky about that. My only instructions for makeup were soft and romantic.

I highly recommend them. DH and I plan on doing another photo shoot at Disney in a few years, and I plan to hire them again.

We used rev Kevin Knox,he was excellent and gives you a lot of useful ceremony planning information. I used Beaty Speaciale for hair and makeup and it was notgreat. My hair came our lovely but my makeup all slid off my face and onto my dress, I had raccoon eyes within an hour. The hair held up but had a lot of hair spray. I wish I had done some trials. I had chosen them based on previous brides pics and requested Jackie. I was told I could have her when they took my deposit but then they changed it the last minute and sent someone else.

I used Beaute Special for my engagement pics, wedding, MK Bridal Shoot and 1 year anniversary pics. I had Jackie at all of them and LOVED her! I will definitely ask for her again in the future. I had 3 other girls at the wedding too, but I don't remember them although they were all fantastic! We had Rev Jack Day as our officiant and we was wonderful!

Another user of beauteous speciale! Loved my make up and hair. Wanted to be calm and relaxed which wouldn't have happened if I did my own. Also my hair is not used to the humidity so i wanted a local expert to make sure it
Looked good! Despite it being hot but none of my pictures showed it!

We also had rev Randal miller! He is the coolest guy who did theist wonderful service

Does anyone have any recommendations for an officiant? We have a list we are looking into. I also have a list of hair/make up people to do my hair and makeup for the wedding day I'm researching that to but would love to hear from those of you who had any good/bad experiences.

Hi new bride to be! Just wanted to tell you that we used Weddingsbycrystal for hair and make-up on the wedding day and they were Fantastic!! I loved my hair and make-up, so did my bridal party, and they were really reasonable! You will love your finished product! So professional too!

I hired Patricia LeJeune for hair and makeup and had a great experience. She doesn't charge an early-morning fee, but there is a $50 travel fee. Totally worth it to me! I chose her because I wanted a more natural look. She did airbrush makeup and it lasted from 7am til our dessert party ended at 9:30pm with only lipstick touch-ups. (I did bring my own setting spray, which she applied for me). She was also great about working with me at the trial to change my hairstyle when it wasn't turning out like I wanted.

As for the Magic Kingdom bridal portrait, we scheduled this for 2 days after the wedding so we wouldn't have to get up early the morning after the wedding. I did my own hair and makeup because they weren't taking any closeups at that time, so it kinda didn't matter....

I ended up doing my own hair and makeup but i did make a few enquires and I found them all to be helpful, apart from 'about face' who were just down right rude!! And being a yorkshire woman i am not easily offended... here is the exchange (It starts from the bottom up because it was by email)

I used beaute speciale for my nov wedding this year and highly recommend them!!! I had laine and she was amazing!!! I did a trial with her in june when i went for my planning session and loved her...shes so friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I was very happy with how everything turned out. I had a large wedding party so that day laine came with 4 other girls and they all did a great job( and trust me my girls would have complained if they werent happy) all my girls looked beautiful....go with them!!!! Who are you using for photographer? I used randy chapman and so glad i did! Great job and only cost me 1500 with tax!!!! Cant go wrong!!!!

My rev was also tim herring...was a little nervous due to some bad reviews i read about him but he ended up doing an amazing job and exactly what we wanted...plus he has the cutest accent and all my guest commented on how adorable they thought he was

We have not decided on photography yet as we did not want to use disney photographers for the wedding probably. We found a website for Regina hyman. Des the one you use have a website?

We are using Regina Hyman for photography. She is so personable and you really get that high level of comfort with her. She is VERY quick to reply to emails and she was able to customize a package for our needs. Her and I spent an hour on the phone Friday night together. Her prices for what we are getting is really cheap!!
