Hi all,
Our boarding time is assigned for 3pm at Galveston port, when is the best time for us to check in early ? We can be at the port as early as 10:30am, but ím not sure if they allow us to get in or not. Can someone please confirm.
Also, do they have internet access and what is the price ?

When you did your online checkin you selected a Port Arrival Time, not a boarding time. If it works in Galveston as it does in PC and LA, your PAT is tied to your boarding number that you receive when you check in at the port. About 11:45 they will start boarding with boarding #1 (Concierge), then #2 (Platinum Castaway Club members), #3, 4, 5, and so on at about 5-7 minute intervals.

Generally about 12:30 (or so) the number being announced for boarding catches up with the number being issued at checkin and Open Boarding is announced. At that time you may board as soon as you are checked in.

All the DCL ships have internet packages you can purchase.

Time Plan 1 - $.75 per minute
Time Plan 2 - 100 minutes for $55
Time Plan 3 - 150 minutes for $100
Time Plan 4 - 500 minutes for $150.

There is an internet cafe located near the Promenade Lounge. You can also use your own laptop, if you bring it, but you still pay the same prices. I will also point out, onboard the internet is extremely slow (think dial-up speed at best).

Yes, it's port arrival time at 3pm. I booked our cruise trip at last minutes, so when I checkin online, all early PAT are gone Hope we don't have to wait till 3pm if we show up early.

Well, usually, once the Open Boarding has been announced, there's not much of a wait to board.
