Do you ask other to take your picture?

I've always wanted to get pics with characters, but I'll be going solo. If there isn't a photo pass photog there, can I ask the handler to use my camera? And if there is no handler, should I just ask the person in line behind me? Would that be rude?

There should always be a photo-pass photographer. If not. There is always a handler. So one of them will take it. I'm sure most people won't mind taking one of you if neither of them are around for some reason.

if you see a family trying to take a picture - offer to take it for them - they will generally ask to take yours.

Just came back from a solo trip to WDW and DCL. I had no problems asking handlers and people behind me to take a picture of me with the characters. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I agree about the handler except with ONE Exception...the green army men who roam around outside of Toy Story Midway Mania don't seem to ever have handlers. We've seen them many times wandering with no handler in sight. I wonder if it because the move around so much and there are multiples of them?

I asked a lot of strangers and handlers to take my picture and they were always very nice about it!

When you're walking in to the park, you'll see the guys & gals that have cameras... An interesting fact is that, if you give them your camera, they will take your picture for you. It's pretty cool. They don't ask for a tip or anything, just hand it over and they'll snap away for you!

Thanks for this! I ordered it and took tons of pics with it. It worked great! I almost was embarrassed to use it, but I got braver each time I did!
