What to rush to 1st TSM or Jedi Training??

I have been planning all along to rush to TSM to get FP and then ride TSM but now I am wondering if DS 6 wants to do Jedi Training (which I haven't asked him) if we need to get there first or he will miss out completely??

We are going Sun 1/27 and crowd levels are low so do I have a better shot if I do Jedi training first and still will have plenty of opportunity for TSM?

Also anyone have a shy 6 year old and were they afraid to go up and do the Jedi thing?

If there are 2 adults in your group you can split up, with one getting FPs to TSM & the other taking the child to sign up at Jedi. If its just you, arrive at park opening, head to Jedi sign-ups, then to TSM.

My kids loved Jedi Training, but one little guy in their group got scared & was gently escorted off stage.

Enjoy your trip! :goodvibes

I would do the sign up first and then head to TSM. As PP mentioned if you have two adults do the split routine. ::yes::

My DD wanted to do JTA, so we split. I took her and went straight to sign up for JTA and DH went to get the TSM FP. Worked out great! And this was Star Wars Weekend!

I also suggest splitting up if you can. DH goes to get TSM FP and I take the kids to Jedi Training.

I have a 6 year old DS who is obsessed with Star Wars and has been since he was 3. He was really pumped up to do Jedi Training.....until he realized that the would have to get up on stage in front of everyone to do it. So he didn't do it and watched his older sister instead. He's not really shy, but does not like to be in front of people who are all watching him. He does not regret skipping it, he had fun watching.

If he's really shy about being on stage, I wouldn't push it. Maybe watching a show first would help him feel more comfortable?

Like most people suggested, have DH go to TSM FP and go watch Jedi Training. Don't force your son to do anything if he doesn't want to. But you should encourage him to get on stage. That way, he can break out of his shell. Just don't be to pushy. Have a magical time on your vacation!! :)
