Does anyone have a picture of this years holiday mugs?

We are leaving in 17 days (OMG!!! SO EXCITED! ) and we were debating whether or not to plan on buying the new ones. We have mugs from our past 5 trips, of which several are the beach scene pictured in an earlier post which they should still be selling. Refillable mugs are PERFECT for our family of 4 and we are bringing two first timers this trip who drink A LOT of soda and iced tea.

Sorry...no holiday mugs. Just got back and the refillable mugs were the beach scene ones that they've had for awhile now. Like the PP mentioned, I'm sure you can buy "regular"/non-refillable holiday mugs though.

I'm sure there must be people tired of my posting this speculation, but based on the lifecycle of the last two designs, I predict a new design in early 2013.

If your next trip is Mar/Apr 2013, I think a new design would be in use by then.

blue/white Year of a Million Dreams mugs switched over early 2009
red Celebrate Today mugs early 2009-early 2011
current poolside mugs early 2011-early 2013 (speculated)

I'm sure there must be people tired of my posting this speculation, but based on the lifecycle of the last two designs, I predict a new design in early 2013.

If your next trip is Mar/Apr 2013, I think a new design would be in use by then.

Just to confirm, we are staying at 3 different disney resorts on our upcoming trip: 1st night at AoA, next 2 nights at BCV, and last 6 nights at AKV. I can buy our mugs at AoA the 1st night and use them the rest of the trip at the other 2 disney resorts, correct?

Do they change the design on the mugs? We went back in 2009 and the mugs currently being sold are the same ones! But the ones from 2008 were blue with clouds and the blue castle design? If so do they change it yearly but decided not to in recent years?

Just saw this, when will we find out if the new design will be announced? We are going in February and it would be cool if we got the 'newest' mugs, but probably going too early in the year to get them. When did they start using the year of a million dreams mugs?

Me too. We've been a few times since the beach scene mug and have WAY more than we need. I hope by our FEB 2013 trip there is a new mug to bring home. If not, then at least by our AUG 2013 trip

We keep them all, and I'll admit, once we get too many DH puts some in the recycle center otherwise we have a lot of the same. It's fun!

we had close to thirty mugs...and two years ago we gave them to my nieces ...they all have little people and these are good to take outside during the nice months and not have to keep going back inside to get their cups...each of their kids had a different design..
I still have six here...need new ones for our next trip..HOPEFULLY...

So maybe since they are kicking off the Limited Time Magic that will mean new mugs in the beginning of the year. I want new ones before I go in February.

I'm sure that they just start selling the new versions one day, but there would be people who had the old ones to use during their stay for at least 10 days, I would imagine. I guess there's just a period of time where both old and new mugs are OK to use?

As long as the mug was new for that trip, it should be fine to use it.
