What kind of bag do you carry with you in the parks? I have two small children, age 3 and 5 on our next trip so I'll need to carry some snacks, wallet, tickets, camera, wipes and probably pullups. I have a Baggallini cross body bag now and I hate it. I have a shorter torso so it falls awkwardly on my chest and shoulders and is super uncomfortable to carry. Should I get a small backpack or a different cross body bag? Any suggestions? Nothing too large.

If CB bags don't work for you, my 2nd choice would be a back pack.

I love my Vera Bradley Hipster, but I don't think it would suit your needs. They have great backpacks, very lightweight. I see lots of them in the Parks.

Light weight, comfortable, well designed, perfect pockets, and more attracive than a fanny pack.

Has held up for years and years of travel, kids, parks, and the adventure of life.

We use a Vera Bradley or a Lands End bag. The Lands End bag can be had in many sizes and are very inexpensive. My DW has the colossal bag and can fit World Showcase in it. :rolleyes1

I interchange my Vera hipster and Vera backpack for my trips. Just depends on what activity I'm doing. Usually the hipster for shopping and the backpack for doing the parks.

Thanks for the suggestions! I like cross body bags it's just that the one I have doesn't sit right. I also like backpacks. I had no idea Vera Bradley made backpacks. But I don't own any VB stuff either.

I am assuming you will be bringing a stroller. What we did was buy hooks that attach to the stroller off Amazon and hooked our diaper bag our backpack to that. It was nice to not carry it all the time.

Very true...although on our last trip, we did so much holding of bags for the thrill-riders that someone had to stand behind the stroller to keep it from falling backward!

My last trip, I had a two-year-old, so I had to take diapers, a changing pad, and wipes, as well as her cup and some snacks. I had a Disney drawstring backpack that was more than adequate. It held everything, wasn't heavy at all, and I didn't have to worry about leaving it open or anything like that. If it was on my back, I knew it was closed.

I bought one of the small Disney bookbags from Walmart (in the purse section) and I take that on every trip. It's probably about 10" tall...fits quite an assortment of incredibly random items! :)

Everyone in our family carries a backpack. Not a huge one or heavy backpack. DD & I both carry Vera Backpacks. Hers is a mini and mine is a medium sized one.

I found DS a small back that he carries. Found it at Walmart, it is big enough to carry a jacket (depends on time of year), poncho, his phone and anything he buys

DH carries a slightly larger backpack because he carries the Nikon in his backpack and the Nikon case fits nicely in the bottom. Then he carries both of our ponchos.

I also made sure the backpacks have a place for water bottles on the outside of the backpacks.

It works for us and it doesn't leave just one person in our party to carry everything.

:goodvibes

I used a PacSafe 200 Metrosafe cross body bag on day trips during our 3 week trip through Europe & at Disneyland Paris last summer. It's going to become my WDW day bag now. Best small bag I've ever owned.

This is very true. As long as you didn't touch the stroller with no one in it you were safe lol. It did work out good for us overall.

I have a dedicated stroller bag that I keep changes of clothes and other things in, but I need a bag to carry in line with me. One to keep valuables in that isn't too big or bulky and is easy to carry with two small kids.

Can anyone recommend a cheap but nice small-ish cross body bag that'll fit a Compact System Camera? My husband got me an Olympus Pen E PM1 for Christmas and while it's exactly what I wanted, I think it's too big for the bag I already have. I don't want to carry around an extra camera bag either.
