Kdog I too am from Rochester actually Irondequoit My kids are grown now so I will be at the Beach Club for the first 10 days and then I get to treat my DGD to her first trip to WDW We will be staying at the THV for the next 8 days I can not wait . I have over the years have met so many great people and made a lot of friends. See you at the pool maybe . Enjoy

Does anyone know what type of coffeemaker is in YC Standard Rooms? I read through the BC/YC Thread and it said the rooms had the new Cuisinart Pod Coffeemakers. Since I couldn't find those pods to take with me, I asked Garden Grocer to add it to my grocery list. GG told me she called YC Housekeeping and was told they still have the regular coffeemakers and not the pods. I called YC and was told the same thing. Has anyone been there recently and can confirm? Thanks so much! Merry Christmas!

What kind of coffeemakers are in the resort rooms?

As of October 2011, the drip coffee makers in the BC and YC resort rooms were replaced.

The regular resort rooms and club level rooms (including Deluxe Rooms) now have the Cuisinart Double Pod Machines:

Here is what I believe are in the rooms currently. Anyone who has been there more recently, please correct this info if it is wrong:

All regular (non-club level) rooms: Cuisinart Pods

All standard club level rooms, all views (standard meaning non-suite), including Deluxe Club Level Rooms: Cuisinart Pods

Suites (1 BR, 2 BR, VP, Presidential Suites): Keurig K-cup

Beach Club Villas- Mr. Coffee-type makers (4 cup for studio, 10 cup for 1BR, 2BR)

I think this applies to both BC and YC- again, let me know if I am wrong!

Yep, the Cuisinart pod machines pictured are what was in my garden view YC room 11/30/12-12/9/12 (and last year as well.)

Thank you all for your concern about Lily. She rallied and was able to go to the Animal Kingdom parade on Sunday, and the Magic Kingdom parade AND visit with Santa at the Beach Club yesterday. Here is what Teena wrote:

"Just got back from the best Christmas Eve I've ever spent. Watching Mickey's Christmas Parade at Magic Kingdom with Jeanne and Lily ... absolutely nothing beats it. Bob and I got teary-eyed while watching Lily get so excited. Now we have to get Lily to sleep so Santa can come. She actually seems to understand that Santa is bringing her presents here in Florida at Nanny and Pop-Pop's house but ONLY if she was a good girl."
