31st October
I was glad that I hadn't booked MNSSHP for tonight as Olivia was still feeling quite delicate when we woke up. Kev took Emilia and Jess off to Hospitality House while I stayed in with Olivia and kept an eye on her.
When the girls returned, they had made charm bracelets and Trick or Treat bags. We decided to stay close to home and have an afternoon by the pool as the kids had been itching to go swimming since we arrived. Olivia eventually joined us for a bit of fresh air.
We had lunch by the pool and then headed back as we had an ADR at 'Ohana later that evening. I had managed to book this rather last minute, so I was looking forward to the meal. Olivia wanted to go back to bed, so with strict instructions not to let anyone in, we decided to go out to dinner without her.
'Ohana
We got the Poly in plenty of time, so we had a little wander around and then headed to the bar for a few cocktails.
I had a Lapu lapu which was lovely, although I opted for a glass instead of a pineapple. Kev had a Backscratcher which came with a backscratcher. The kids were very happy with their glowing icecubes in their non-alcoholic drinks!
The restaurant was fabulous. It had a great family atmosphere and Jess and Emilia loved their leis. The food was great and I would definitely recommend it. I had a veggie pasta dish, but it was too much as I had filled up on bread, noodles and veg. There was plenty to choose from and something to suit everyone. The dessert was our favourite of the holiday. It was a banana bread pudding - and it was to die for! We both wished that we had left room for it! Kev tried valiantly to finish it off but was defeated by the sheer size of it.
After dinner we headed down to the (almost deserted) beach and I settled in the hammock to watch the Water Pageant.
Emilia was fast asleep in her pushchair and it wasn't long before I was joined by Kev and Jess.
It was getting colder and Jess was beginning to flag by the time Hallowishes started. We watched a few minutes and then decided to head back on the boat. It was a great decision as we were the only ones on the boat and had a fantastic view of Hallowishes as we sailed towards MK. It was truly awesome and made us gasp outloud. A great end to the evening.
When we got home, Olivia was still up and had tidied the villa! She declared that she was feeling much better.
