BIs (Beauty Insider) get $15, and VIBs (Very Important Beauty Insider) get $20.

Everyone starts out as a BI. In order to qualify for VIB status, you need to spend $350 or more in a calendar year.

If you feel or know that you are a VIB, then call Sephora customer service. They have made some mistakes of giving $15 to some VIBs. But they are willing to correct the mistake, which is good!

I think you had to make VIB before October.

Thank you...Now I remember...I got VIB last year because I bought 3 Clarisonic MIAs for relatives in Asia. I don't normally spend any where near $350!!!

I thought this was funny and wanted to share:

My DH is a BI, but never got the VIB Gift Card for the holiday promotion. So he called Sephora customer service, and got his $15 gift card.

DH has only spent $10 this whole year at Sephora, and still qualified for the $15 gift card! I spent over $350 and got the $20 GC. Looks like my hubby got the better deal! lol

OMG what about Penny? Did you abandon her? My son's GF would kill to have that bag.

Saks has 15% off through Thursday including cosmetics. I have an extra code if someone wants it. PM me. It's great for brands that are seldom discounted like Chanel and Chantecaille.

I see a dermatologist for adult acne. She recommends Clarisonic. She told me to use the acne brush and that is what she recommends to everyone, even those without acne. I use mine every night. She did not recommend using it more than once a day, even though the information that comes with the brush says you can use it twice a day. If my Clarisonic broke, I'd have to go out that day and buy another one. I love it!

What is the acne brush I got the gentle I too have adult acne and it is KILLING ME It is particularly bad now. It is rosacea? I am on two meds and nothing is working now. I wonder if I should use the Clarisonic. When I first used it it seemed to be what caused the problem with my skin.

I only got a $15 off $50 VIB gift card :( I wonder how they determine who got $15 or $20 off? :confused3

I think it depends on how much you spend over the year.

Once again, if you have a Discover card, turn in the points for a Sephora GC for 90 and get 100..add it to the 20.00 discount and you save 30.

My son's gf worked for ulta she had the discount(40% off) weekend for employees last week. I spent only 250 which for me is pretty darn good! I did get the huge bottle of Coco Mademoiselle and some essentials. I was pretty proud of myself.

The acne Clarisonic brush is the green one. I get the typical red pimples and bumps with the ugly white heads on them . I use prescription retin-a, get microderms 2-3 times a year. I had a chemical peel recently and my skin has looked pretty good since then. Which meds are you taking?

Do you know what kind of peel it was? I do my own at home because its so much cheaper. I do it every Saturday. I get the best results from the glycolic peel. I tried a lactic acid peel and I was allergic to it. My face started itching and burning at the same time! I rinsed it off and applied aloe to my face and took Benadryl. I was fine in the morning.

If you think you might have rosacea, go to a dermatologist to find out for sure. Rubbing or using a brush cleanser like the Clarisonic on rosacea will make it worse. Using the Clarisonic on oily, acne prone skin is fine (as long as you don't have super sensitive skin).

Finacia and Calm I did not take the doxycyclyne (sp) What makes the green brush different than the soft one.

I already did and I do have it. I used the acne brush once a week and it seems to be working okay. It seems to be clearing the pores. I know the other brush exacerbated it but this seems to be working okay.

Chiming in on the Rosecea. I was diagnosed with it several years ago and after getting it under control with products from the dermatologist, it took several months and was expensive, I started using Neutrogena products. Specifically, I use the acne scrub. My dermatologist recommended the products and now my skin is mostly clear and I rarely have flares. I use the healthy skin face lotion with SPF 15 for my moisturizer.

I've also had success with the clarisonic, but only after my acne was under control. My skin looks really clear when I use it.

The make-up that doesn't irritate my skin is Bobbi Brown. I use her products exclusively and my sensitive skin is fine and looking good!

I used the Neutrogena acne scrub (orange?) but it did not work all that well I am using the Clarisonic scrub now. I had a huge flare a few weeks ago but I have it under control to some extent.

Also chiming in on the rosacea. I have had really, really good luck with the Clinique Redness Solutions line. The cream feels so good, and soothing, when I put it on.

Also, you may want to try taking Omega-3 fish oil supplements. It is good for you for a million reasons anyway, but it really has improved the amount of redness. If you do this, you MUST buy the "burp-less" kind.

Also, I was advised not to use the Clarisonic.

Any recommendations for liquid foundation? I use retin-a for acne so I'm assuming that's why I have so much terrible finding a foundations that looks good.

Some foundations tend to sit on my face and "cake" up. I hope that makes sense! I have tried Make Up Forever and it really cakes up the worst for me. I can't use the powder foundations and no mineral products. I went to the mall yesterday and the lady insisted on having me try Estee Lauder's maximum coverage. No luck there - you could see it seeing on my face. I ended up buying some Clinique which felt great but by the end of the day it looked terrible. I couldn't wait to take it off.

Any suggestions?
