I wouldn't ask for it unless you're prepared to pay for it -- as for what a great smile, pleasant attitude and love of Disney would get you...probably a smile and pleasant attitude in return.
I'm sorry, but I am so perplexed by this question....
Is it worth it to ask for a perferred room at that time even if you didn't pay for it. Are there any perks one could ask for or hint at, or is it not worth it?
A great smile, pleasant attitude and a love of Disney will get you a friendly check-in and a great feeling to start off your trip.
So neither a CM at the airport or at your front desk can offer you something for free, such as a preferred room, fast pass option, upgrade or park tickets, NOTHING? I just figured it was good customer service....

I can only speak for myself, but no flames here. Just confusion over such high expectations.
