Hi All,

I'm hoping I can get some feedback on my MVMCP itinerary. We've never gone during Christmas and have only been to Disney twice before, so I'm still a newbie when it comes to navigating MK. Input is greatly appreciated.

6-7:30PM---------------Cinderella (Fantasyland – New Fantasyland Wall)
7:30-7:55PM---------Princess Tiana/Prince Naveem (Liberty Square – Glade)
8:00PM-----------------Rapunzel/Aurora/Snow White (Town Square Theater)
If time, Mickey & Minnie
9:15-10PM------------Holiday Wishes fireworks show
10:30-11PM---------Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade
11:20PM---------------Celebrate the Season show (Castle Forecourt Stage)
11:30-12:00AM----A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas

My main concerns:

-Holiday Wishes-How likely are we to find a good spot right near Town Square Theater after visiting with the princesses?

-Visiting Tiana/Naveem. I'm thinking this might be an issue, but not really seeing where else I can squeeze them in (and my daughter really wants to see them). I would forego the Tomorrowland show, but I'm not even sure if Tiana & Naveem will still be out, so scared to attempt this. :confused3

As we normally do a lot of rides and maybe a show, the late parade and fireworks. Meet & Greets can eat up a lot of time. If it is really important do the meet & greets...just know they may over lap when a show starts. :)

One suggestion that I would make is to see the Castle Lighting ceremony. I believe it starts at 6:15 p.m. There is a little show with the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella and then all the lights on the castle are lit. Your daughter might really enjoy it. Then queue up for the Cinderella meet and greet.

I don't have young children anymore so I really can't respond to the meet and greet questions but a lot of people seem to really enjoy the lighting ceremony...including me. :)

Of those listed, your longest wait time is likely to be the princesses, and not Cinderella and her group. You may want to consider getting in line for them first, around 6:15p or so. The Cinderella group will probably have a bit of a line also, but I think not as long as the princesses in Town Square Theater.

For Holiday Wishes, near TST is not a good spot. You will need to be further up Main Street towards the Hub. There are garlands strung across MS that will block your view from Town Square.

Have a great time!

(I hope this post is not perceived as rude by any other posters.)

When I went, we didn't spend much time doing M&Gs, but we did visit the princesses at about 8:00, like you're planning to. I know this party was far from sold out and based on others' reports it sounds like we had unusually low crowds, but there were only 2 families in front of us at that time. We were done in about 10 minutes. So unless you're at a sold-out party, you should be done in plenty of time to get a spot along Main St. for Celebrate the Magic/Wishes.

I also agree with PP who suggested making time to see the castle lighting ceremony at 6:15. It is a really cute show and it's neat to see the castle transform :)

Them, the Seven Dwarves, and Jack Sparrow tend to have the longest lines. Conventional wisdom is to knock one of those out first. Some have reported luck with shortish lines doing the princesses during the first parade, so that might work for you too. I don't want to throw a complete reschedule at you. ;)

We were At the party nov 29th. In line for the dwarfs by 6 and were about 5th in line. No one else's lines were as long as I expected them to be - including Scrooge. I didn't try the princesses though so I can't comment on them. Everyone else lines weren't bad at all. Actually Merida was one of the longer ones.

Hope your plan works for you. We were there last night and one CM told us that the turnstile count was 76,000. People were lining up for the parades and fireworks over 2 hours in advance. We were able to ride a couple of rides, saw just a few characters before we had to stake out a spot for the shows. The crowds made it near impossible to do much of anything let alone follow our game plan. For what little we were able to do it was fun but don't know that we'll do it again anytime soon. They did a good job of checking wristbands but still saw a lot of people walking around without them.

:faint:

Was your date sold out? Did you do the first parade/shows? We're doing the second parade, so I'm hoping that helps. But maybe not...oh boy. :sad2:

BTW, I came up with a new game plan:

6-7:30PM---------------Cinderella (Fantasyland – New Fantasyland Wall)
7:45PM-----------------Celebrate the Season show (Castle Forecourt Stage)-show @ 7:45PM-I'm hoping that most folks will be more worried about the parade to worry about this first show.
8:10PM-----------------Rapunzel/Aurora/Snow White (Town Square Theater)-Same "folks are too busy at the first parade" gameplan. Was going to do this at 6PM, but read a tip that lots of non-party folks might be in this line on their way out. Just gotta figure out a gameplan for navigating through the masses to get to TST.
9:15-9:45PM------------Holiday Wishes fireworks show
9:45-10PM--------------Mickey & Minnie
10:00-11PM-------------Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade
11-12:00AM------------Whatever rides we have time for.

Me again. To the bolded: they won't be able to see the same group as you would beginning at 7:00p. (The princes join the princesses for the party.). There should be a separate line started for MVMCP folks and the day guests should not be a factor.

Again, do as you please, but I just want you to have the best info possible to base your decisions on.

As far as navigating through the masses - you can always walk through the Main St. gift shops. Though they may not appear to be connected, they are.
