Just came out of LOCJS. No spoilers from me, other than to say its a fun show and the special effects are great.

We did this attraction Thanksgiving week and really glad we did too. Really neat and I really enjoyed it. :thumbsup2 DHS!

~Thanks for the update. It's nice to hear positive reviews about this attraction. I'm glad that it's a fun experience with special effects. People want special effects! This sounds like a major improvement over the Narnia thing. :goodvibes

Stand in the back! I was up front amd hard tome seeing it. Wouldnt wait in long line to see it.

I also recently experienced LoCJS. Very cool. Really blows away what used to be in there...

What used to be in there?

I saw this and thought it was kind of dumb. BUT, the technology with the Jack Sparrow hologram was amazing. I was kind of disappointed though because I was hoping for a human Capt Jack.

+1

We enjoyed it. Much better than the previous attraction. We did it twice and would do it again....especially after getting out of TSM.

We had a different opinion of it....that's why they make chocolate and vanilla! We were there Thanksgiving week and were really disappointed that we waited in line for it. That was the overwhelming feeling of everyone around us when we were coming out...that it wasn't worth the wait at all. I have 2 kids...12 yr old boy and 8 yr old girl and they did not like it all. It is very hard for the little ones to see as well. If there is no line, my suggestion is to go to see what it's like. If there's a line...skip it.

Thanks to all for sharing your thoughts on it.:goodvibes Danny

So what is it exactly?? We're taking 8yo & 5yo? Is this something they'd enjoy or scare them? Feel free to send me the spoiler in private if need be

I don't know about this. What is it and where is it? Is it something I should do as a single rider adult? Just to see it once?

Thanks,

Thanks,

It is a new "attraction" at DHS, in the building that used to house "The Legend of Narnia-Prince Caspian." It is near TSM and the exit for The Backlot Tour.
It isn't a ride, more of a special effects show.

Fun show, but it's allot of standing especially with a long line. Standing in line, standing in the pre-show and standing during the main attraction. The hologram is amazing.

Would I be correct in saying this is similar to Poseidon's Fury over at Islands of Adventure? If so, how would you compare it on an enjoyment level?

It's nowhere near the scope of that. You basically go into a room for 3-4 minutes and stand on concrete. Then you go into another room and stand on concrete while a thing happens for 8-10 minutes.

OK I admit it, I didn't read up on the attraction at all before I saw it and I really had no idea that Capt. Jack was a hologram. Now that I know that, it just makes the special effects all that much more amazing.

I saw it the other day and while the effects were cool, I can't entirely say that for the rest it. My family and I were kinda disappointed in it.

This was our opinion of it too. The effects were cool. The kids couldn't see well and really didn't get it. I wouldn't really call it "interactive" persay. I'd have been much happier if we weren't packed in the room like sardines and if you could sit down.

It is not on our repeat list.
