Help me decide between these two cabins please! Have them both on hold. Are they both the same? Just different sides of the ship? Which is better?
TIA!

10658 is basicall mirrored to 10158. You'll have a view of the family beach at Castaway Cay from your verandah if you stay in 10658. Otherwise I can't think of any advantages or disadvantages.

I was in 10158 last month and LOVED it. The extra space sure is nice to have. Here's a video tour through my stateroom: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDAVCWrKJuk

Oh great video! Thanks so much. I had a travel agent book for me, and they got 10158, but I got impatient waiting for them to call me back, so I went to the disney website, and booked 10658. Now I basically have them both on hold. I am trying to figure out the advantages of going though an agent vs. disney directly. The price is identical, and the cabins are mirror image as you say! Thanks for your help!

Yup same cabin just on different sides of the ship. As Reto noted 10658 being on the starboard (right) side of the ship will typically give you a nice view of CC when you are docked there.

And view of the fireworks from your balcony.

I'd go with the starboard side.

A TA can give you onboard credits or gifts. They also watch for reductions in price, special, etc.

Thanks for posting! Liked that they can still fit 2 full lounge chairs plus two standard chairs and the table. We've seen the video for 10658 and were trying to imagine it mirrored. We have 10158 for next November. Quick question, was it really windy while moving due to the position at the corner, or was it just the mic from the video camera? We've been center aft our last two times and love being out there, even at night. TIA.

Thank you for posting the video. We are in 10160 in February so it was nice to get a peek at the veranda and the door. and where it is in the hall. We could see that there are both chairs and chase lounges on the veranda on the 10160 veranda. We are really getting excited about the cruise as it gets closer. By the way it will be our third too as your door sign indicated yours was the third for you as well.

We stayed in 10158 in early September. The room was great, the verandah was wonderful. The only issue we has was our neighbors smoking on their verandah and the smoke coming over to our side. We worked around it, and really enjoyed the stateroom.

The smoking part sound awful...but I know smoking conversation is forbidden on these boards, so I won't speak further on the subject!
A quick question, some have mentioned noise from the deck above. How did you find it?

Thanks for posting the video - we had booked 10658 and was wondering what it would look like. I'm not sure I like the placement of the tv - can you see it from the bed?

Basically yes, but you're not permitted to sit on the verandah during the fireworks. A letter, which you'll find in your stateroom on Pirate Night will tell you to keep your verandah door closed and remain inside your room (or on deck of course) for fire safety reasons.

Wind wasn't that bad, given the fact you had a large area to move your lounger or chair away from the wind.

My friends were in 10160. That's basically just like a sideways facing stateroom, except for the verandah, which is larger and has the loungers in addition to the chairs.

Really enjoyed my 3rd cruise. Now I've been on the Magic, the Dream and the Fantasy, so up next I'll try to cruise on the Wonder.

No smoking issues on this voyage. Smoking is allowed on the portside only.

I'm quite a good sleeper, so I didn't notice any noise coming from above. Some vibration was felt while backing into Castaway Cay, but nothing too bad.

The TV is mounted on a swivel arm which you can pull out quite far and you can actually remain in your bed and watch TV just fine. Yes, it's less convenient than in regular staterooms, but then again, I didn't use the TV that much. There were too many other fun things going on.:)

Can you see the fireworks at all from 10158? I guess we could always watch them from elsewhere on the ship but it would be nice if we could see them from our verandah :)

Can you see the fireworks at all from 10158? ....

No. They are launched from the funnels towards starboard and position the ship so they blow away from the vessel.

Well after checking your cabin location; Depending on the wind, and how much you lean out over the railing you may see 30% off them falling. IMO
